This from the team that answered number 1 with "floozy boozy bloozy woozy?" I love you guys!!!
I'm perpetually fascinated about how you'll argue for days about things you got right. :D
Lol . Hahhaaaa but SO a answer. :D
hah that's an amazing hink pink "floozy boozy bloozy woozy" I am impressed :D
: Wow....just wow. It just says so much about the Jalapenos....(grin)
I was especially proud of these two that Chaos came up with... 8. A spa cafeteria divider = "Beautician Nutrition Partition" 11. A rematch : "To-do Redux"
Beautician is clever.
The way some people spell makes me wonder about their pronunciation. My CW shop, and my ping group
Many thanks to the judges for somehow managing to sort out all the Hink Pinks.
- HUGE congratulations on a perfect Hink Pink score - I'm soooo impressed with you all!
- as the judges and said, there are yellow amaranths - even if when used as a color name the word refers to a different shade, so why not. Thanks for the nice mention. I never even thought about the fact that amaranth as a grain is yellow (maybe because I've never seen amaranth as a grain - LOL).
- oooh - Beautician nutrition partition is really clever. My first reaction to nutrition partition was "yes, but where does the spa come in?" so adding beautician is a great answer.
- Wow - for a bunch of really confused Hink Pink solvers, we did really well! Great job all!
Throwing those Hink Pinks at us so early in the mission...I am pretty sure most of the Jalapeno brains have exploded and we now just have mush in our skulls.
: Thank you sweetheart, you are a love. : Thank you so very much. Some of the clues were so odd and nebulous that I would have never come up with the correct answers the judges required. I used an old thesaurus and an old rhyming dictionary (musty and old printed BOOKS) to come up with some of our answers.
Looks like we did what we aimed for.. Although are they wrong? Are they?... Asking a question twice makes them correct.. That's Jalapenos Logic 101. Also after these last puzzles, I think it's time for Tea to reopen Booze, Strippers & Blackjack...

... we probably don’t want Everyone to know about your secret club house!!!
Thank you!!! I do have some clever teamates 😉

Let's put the amaranth thing to bed so we don't spend all of WS6 hung up on a single word. We have a judge who is gluten intolerant, so amaranth is a favorite grain. Also, yellow amaranths are pretty bushes:

And the very healthy and good for you grain, which makes yummy crackers and cereals, looks like this:

Okay with everyone?
Too right! <3
Saying twice makes it true, and the clubhouse is full of babes and booze? The Jalapenos should run for office! :D
Sure, it's okay.
But since you mentioned a gluten-intolerant judge...I have celiac disease, meaning that I have severe gluten intolerance, and I never knew that the flowers came in yellow, even though I eat it all the time :) The grain is yellowish, but so are most other grains. (Dhara even mentioned it--her entire species is gluten-intolerant because they are obligate carnivores.)

That's a lot more common than people think, and not understood as well as it should be. I'm sorry you have it.
(Just so you know, the team that argued over this when they submitted was given the points for it.)
At least we learned something new. I feel all edumacated now. I suggest we have pillow fights and gluten free-dairy free ice cream xD--not at the same time of course.
you know whats also yellow? booze. Let's raid their supply and PAR-TAY
Way to go teams!
RIP Mom, I love & miss you more than you know. Tell Dede hi.
Ocean Conservation Namibia on YouTube... they do good work! https://www.ocnamibia.org
Thanks for the points on that :D I did tell the team that... I mean, I at least mentioned it on discord or something. We appreciate it.
I thought maybe because Amaranth somehow sounds like it should mean yellow, even though it doesn't - probably because of the similarity in sound to "Amber" and "Xanthe" which do both mean yellow? - and because it's not as familiar of a color word as "Wine" or "Rose" (both of which also come in yellow and both of which also, as color words, mean pink/red/purplish) - it's an understandable thing to happen, and not worth worrying about any longer 💛

I have to eat gluten free also... or be sick for a week. I hardly ever manage to get any amaranth to eat though; they just don't sell it around here.
A person's arguing when they got it right (or points for it, anyway) is driven not by a desire to win... but by a desire to reach consensus, I think, a pursuit of accuracy for its own sake, and harmony - to wear away the lingering confusion of not being able to reconcile others' conclusions with one's own. Or maybe I'm projecting, that's why I do it (when I do it, which I hope won't be often! I know it can be horribly annoying) so not sure if it's why shylarah or anyone else does... but it might be :)
the coconut milk green tea ice cream mochi at trader joe's are the bomb, and this comes from someone who does eat dairy.
I usually eat things made with amaranth rather than just eating amaranth. We probably can get it to cook by itself here in SF, but I'm not much of a cook; fortunately l live in a place where I don't have to be. I would be SOL if I had to do all my own baking or worse, grow my own Rainbow Herb or rely on industrial hemp-derived supplements to get the CBD edibles I take for anxiety and fibro.
I was diagnosed with celiac disease in adulthood and I was so incredibly grateful to discover that so much of what I was going through came to an end when I stopped eating this one thing that I am actually surprised when people say that they're sorry I have it. But thanks!
