Thanks for pinging, Kanna~
I love lists ... and folders ... and categories. So much that I'm regularly sorting through my wardrobe, in desperate search for some structure to keep. I use the description fields, I delete all the works in progress when one HA is done (which are many, thanks to my unstable internet connection). I even saved some old HAs on my computer before deleting them, and then I got confused what I used and how I layered and IT'S A MESS OMG SEND HELP PLS.
At the very moment I have 37 pages of randomly collected HAs, old entries for StyleFile and Kantests, Halloween-ish and Christmas-themed HAs, so many (no, like, so many) Masquerade HAs ... and when I'm searching for something specific, I still go through every single page.
I'd like to have the option to overwrite an old HA with a new one. It just makes no sense to use another "slot" when you just change the base or a single item. (My last HA had the number 587.716. Give it a year or two, how many digits will the HAs have?)
On the other hand, I. NEED. FOLDERS. It'd make everything so much easier! Staff could even give us a few folders to begin with and let Saggi or Esmerelda sell more folders for sP. shut up and take my money!!
Yes! This would be cool as I could sort my outfits between event/ contests HA and ones I make for fun.

Adding that I also support the idea of updating/saving over old outfits as an option. I like to be able to compare outfits so I wouldn't want it to be automatic, though. c:
I like this idea. I made these two suggestions a month or so ago here:
able to enter a page number. Currently if you are wanting to get to page 20, for example, you have to click every page between 3 and 20 to get there. That wastes time and probably server capacity. The ability to go to a particular page of saved outfits would be great.
able to search saved outfits for an item. Sometimes I know I made an outfit with a certain dress, or hat, and I can't find it (I have 80 pages of saved outfits, don't judge me). It would be so great to be able to search my saved outfits and get just the ones that contain a specific item.
I'm not a fan of saving over. I delete things only when I'm sure I want to get rid of them. I don't think I'd like to be prompted and have to say "no."
How hard is it to just delete the one you'd want to save over? Not that hard, in my opinion, compared to the danger of accidentally saving over something you wanted to keep because the cat jumped on the keyboard or something else like that happened.
(I lost an auction for a rare lolita dress because this happened once. He jumped on the keyboard, hit an arrow key, and by the time I got him off the keyboard and back to the page, someone had sniped me and the auction was over.)
However, the ability to jump to a page, that would be helpful.
And the ability to save things in categories, would be AMAZEBALLS. Then I could have all my Valiska Courinna avatars, all my Mabel Pines avatars, all my Paz avatars, all my Lissandra avatars, all my Callista Zabini avatars, all my Dhara Verenke avatars, grouped together, and all the weird avatars I've made for contests could be at the back so I don't have to delete them and make the old contest pages look weird, but they're also not in the way of my finding a Valiska avatar. I use the wardrobe to make a lot of my RP avatars because I have a feline species in my game that it's hard to duplicate on other sites :)
Also 100% behind the ability to search outfits with specific items in them, as suggested.
I'd just like that so that when I'm deciding to clean out my wardrobe, I can make sure that I don't sell (and have to rebuy, assuming the item is even available) an item that I rarely use as Valiska, but that I've forgotten is in one of my secondary characters' outfits that I do want to be able to wear again.

The saving over was really a secondary idea to my very first/original thought that started this topic. The reason I thought about the saving over later was only due to being tired of moving HA's around so much but when thinking about it now if individual folders were available and we could move HA's as I first mentioned then the save over feature really WOULD be secondary. I'm continually tweeking HA's and if it's a body mod HA (for example) I want to keep it grouped with all the other body mod HA's, to do that as I already stated means wearing, deleting the saved, then resaving ALL HA's previously (to the modifieds original position) to get it back there. Extremely time consuming and there's a high chance of missing resaving and losing HA's this way, trust me I know :(
Ah, I lost that cat a year ago and I'd give all my dresses to have him back but it was still annoying at the time.
I gave up on grouping avatars under the current system long ago because you DO lose them, but I guess I'm dense because I can't see how saving over would be helpful unless you're talking about it saving over the old one in its place in the current array. But if you can move them you don't need to do that anyway.

I'm sorry you lost your fur baby that's terribly sad I know how heartbreaking it can be.As for saving over, yes, that's what I meant and yes that's what I realised after reading your first post lol.
Just in case you guys are interested.
I'd love folders.
I'd also love to make the saved outfits private. If not every HA I've saved then making a folder private.

Ooohh what a lovely idea! I know I'd love to have something like this to keep my HA in place o; Thank you for the ping
I was thinking of something like (selfchoosen) themes you could save HAs under, then you easily find one back for a celebration, theme for an advent or special day.
If we could get the folder idea happening then those could be titled in theme categories like Morostide, Vesnali, etc With all the problems going on with the site at the moment as well as all the other ideas out there I don't think this will take a priority at the moment so guess we'll just have to keep sorting through pages to find older HA's.
Still support this. Some kind of sorting system would be awesome.

Absolutely support this. I thought Style File would be the answer to my problems and I am going to put a lot of things there, but it doesn't record the items used, it just holds pictures, and also they are picky about having similar avatars or repeats of the same one that you're trying to refine.
It is very frustrating having to go through pages and pages (I have 42 now) of avatars trying to find the base for a specific character, particularly one that I haven't done as often as Valiska Courinna, Mabel Pines, or Callista Zabini. And when there are a lot of HA contests going I can sometimes get to a point where there's not even a Valiska Courinna on the top page, despite that being the character the account is named for.
(But I'm also the person that can't have enough drawers and had 85 before there was a limit on it. LOL.)

I would like to be able to order my saved avatars without having to wear and save them over and over in a specific order. Also, when I delete one, it doesn't disappear until I go away from the saved page to another part of the wardrobe, then go back again. It's really hard because I do like to make some avatars in advance for certain events, and want them to be easy to find.
