GENERAL UPDATES: JUNE 28

I relate so much to the tremendously graceful experiment plushie at the top of this post. I can't explain it; I just feel like it understands me. Anyway...

hello, BUG is awake!

Hello, here! As mentioned last week, I have been working on revamping the pet leash GA perk to make it easier to find, and less confusing to use. I love this feature but it's commonly been a source of confusion how to find it and use it, so this update was meant to address that.

(click for full size)
☕ Instead of a separate link and page for each pet, now everything can be found and managed from a single Pet Leash Page. If you have a Gold Account, you'll see a link to this on the top of your Pets page.

☕ This page now includes an explanation of how pet leashes work.

☕ There is a little preview of your current active leash.

☕ There are clear buttons to change the text for your leashed pets, and to change (or remove altogether) your active leash.

Anyway, here is a direct link to the page. If you have any other suggestions for ways this page can be improved, or want to report any bugs, please give me a ping :)

shh, AMBER is sleeping

I've had a pretty exhausting week and don't have anything to update with today. I'll be working on some rad stuff over the weekend that I'll share on next Thursday's post.

TIME TO GO SLEEP FOR LIKE 48 HOURS STRAIGHT, HAVE A GREAT WEEK(END) GUYS, BYE.

It means that the pet has a leash on - mostly that just means it'll save whatever text you write there, even if the leash isn't being displayed on the forums. If a pet is "not leashed" that means there is really no leash data for it whatsoever.

Little tidbits can be posted in the Problems and Bugs forums! No need to ping me since I check them. It's perfectly fine to make new topics even if it's a really small bug. For typos and stuff though, there is a specific form you can use.

No no is the one who is sleeping xD I feel like every week we have people confused about the format of our post. I'll take suggestions for how to make it clearer who is speaking in each half lol.

This is great, thank you so much for this update! I forgot how to leash pets for a while the other day, so I&;m really grateful for this! However, the link showing my actively leashed pet doesn&;t seem to work; the pet ID is blank, instead of having my pet&;s ID.
Nice catch, I will fix that when I push the next batch of fixes and updates later :D Thank you!

I may actually get rid of that distinction altogether, since it doesn't make much sense to have it now that I think about it.
