5/12 Good day, Sunday FUNDAY! Today is Mother's Day here in the States, and I'd like to celebrate by posting HAs depicting either your mother or a positive female role model in your life. To all the moms out there, Happy Mother's Day!

I admit I fan girl screamed when Gyarados popped up lol Vacations are what I live for! 9 years is a long time, congrats!

This is pretty close to my mom and her dream dog, Lola (a frightful beast). She died from colon cancer a couple of years ago. I miss her, she was easily the best mom in the universe. XD Mommy, I love you, happy mother's day.

Outfit Not Found This is my grandma. She was there for me and was my Mother! Because my own mother was to busy working and drinking.

She is gone and I miss her every day in my life!

I can't choose only one,

so for my paternal Grandmother Nan, who loved bird watching and taught my dad about being a patient and loving man and father, who gave tirelessly of her time to the Red Cross and other charities, and who went back to school in her 40's when her husband died so she could support her 5 children;

For my maternal Grandmother Noni, Aa first generation Italian immigrant who was a war bride from WW2 who came to this country not speaking English, won the Queen for a Day television program, and who, no matter what time of night it was, would put out a 5 course meal spread for anyone visiting and taught me the importance of loving through food;

and last but not least for my mother, who at 70 years old is the lead backpacking trainer for Girl Scouts in our region,who was the first woman to operate sub-sea remote controlled vessels in three of the worlds ocean, who can bench press twice her weight (don't even get me started on what she can squat), and who in general just doesn't give a fuck about anything but what makes her and hers happy and has taught me to be myself, regardless of what anyone else thinks;

I'm pretty excited for our trip. This is actually the first vacation we've taken together. I found a hotel that, upon checking in gives you a box of homemade chocolate chip cookies and milk. They also serve breakfast, have afternoon tea, serve free popcorn in the evenings and serve free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate 24 hours a day. I think that's going to be our hotel lol.

So, my HA represents my mom. She died 7 years ago from clear cell renal carcinoma two weeks after her 50th birthday.

It's called The Inn on the River in Pigeon Forge, TN. Oh and I was wrong, it's sweet tea that they serve. I saw tea and my mind completely disregarded the "sweet" part lol.
