The first week ended and soon it was the weekend. Saturday lunchtime to be precise. Blade came in for lunch. His first week had been strange to him as he tried to settle into Hogwarts.

Friday morning the students lined up to take the portkey to the beach. What beach it was, no one was quite sure, but it was a private beach with anti-muggle spells so the kids were allowed to do magic whilst out. They had two chaperones. Professor Aimee Torres and Carlisle Caswell When everyone arrived the beach looked very inviting.

There were plenty of beach balls, a volley ball net, surfboards, lounging chairs, shade and even a souvenir shop.

There was even a buffet for them with drinks and foods galore, which was free for them and even had yummy cold foods like Ice lollies and ice cream.

Blade, Niamh and Callista are in the souvenir shop currently. Paddy, Magnus, Toru, Kiara are eating lunch. Zoe, Jona (think he'll be going to eat?) and Mille are headed to the food. If I've missed someone its cos I'm totally not a robot haha and am sleepy, so my apologies.

The beach trip seemed to have been a big success and the staff was pleased. Life resumed at Hogwarts.

It was Saturday morning 4th of August and it was storming. The bleak, dark sky could be viewed from the Great Hall's enchanted ceiling. The thunder and lighting along with the dark sky gave the morning a gloomy feel to it. There was one bright spot though. Over by the Hufflepuff table where some popup shop booths. Shop owners had donated merchandise to the popup shop. There was a donation box and who could afford to, were asked to donate to the box but it wasn't required. Donations were to go to help low income students at Hogwarts. ((feel free to make up what you'd like the shops to have. When possible I've given a link to places with things we've know are for sale.))

There was Gladrags Wizardwear

Honeydukes sweet shop was there in all it's tempting glory.

Scrivenshaft’s Quill Shop had lovely quills, parchment and ink for all occasions.

Dominic Maestro's Music Shop. This booth had several lovely musical instruments, sheet music, metronomes, magical tuners, loads of accessories and also had an advert for lessons.

And finally, Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes had a booth. There even was a spot with several pgymy puffs in a large comfy looking display. All remaining puffs would be returned to the store.

On the 18th of August, all students were permitted to visit Hogsmede regardless of age, but they were required to be back at the castle at 7.30 pm, It was a slightly damp morning since it had rained overnight, but the forecast promised sun the rest of the day.
