I'm from the Netherlands. English is not my native speak, but I'll try to tell you about my real baby's tough. They are my hamsters. I have got 3. All males. Before I have also a female hamster. She was called Lady Justice. Unfortunately she got a brain illness and I have to say her good bye at the vet. I'll never forget her. She was a very active sweet and springy hamster. She needed a whole table and a wall of my room. I have expand her home little by little. A hamster is small, but they are fond of a lot of space. The hamsters I still have got are called Gul Dukat, Plato and William of Orange. Because William the Silent was actually called Prince of Orange. Gul Dukat is a longhaired syrian hamster. He is a gentle and sweet guy. on the 6th of september he will become 2 years. Gul Dukat is called to a Cardassian crook in Star Trek from DS9. Plato is a russian dwarfhamster, a funny guy and very beautiful. At the winter he is white and in the summer he is grey-brown. I have called him Plato because he was a young hamster from a big family. I don't want he would be used for breed. There are all ready too much unwanted sweet pets, who don't find a new home. So he is called Plato to "platonic love". William of Orange is called after William the Silent, because he has got an incredible orange natural fur. He is a sweet lively and active guy. He is adopted by me last week and he become also in september 2 years. I have traveled by train near the 350 km to fetch him.

- Thank you for hosting this giveaway <3 My latest happy moment was yesterday. I went to visit my local thrift store and got to talking with the old lady working at my fav section (the books!) and I learned everyone worked there on a volunteer basis. Since I have time and I love places like that, I decided to sign up to volunteer a couple days a week as well.

It reminded me a bit of my younger self, when I would go out a lot and join up for volunteering and events. I've become kind of a hermit the past years so it's exciting to feel that spark again ^__^.

My happy news is that I was able to spend time with my son and his family at the beginning of the month. I'll be spending time with my folks and hubby on a camping trip in 8 days so that makes me happy as well.

The most recent happy thing for me was going out to the garden and seeing that the basil plants I had were flowering- and covered in happy little bees from my neighbor's beehive! They love basil flowers so much, and basil honey is the best :D

I couldn't think of anything for a while but then it hit me... I started doing simple but consistent exercise in February (weights, squats) and have lost 15 pounds(!!), so that makes me kinda happy lol. I'm excited that I'll be able to fit into all my fun clothes again, like my War Boys and Raptor Squad shirts. ;)

The last thing that made me happy happened 10 minutes ago c: My semester is almost over and right now I am only waiting for my results. During exams I was pretty sure I failed my economics class and today I was told that two exam results were online. When I wanted to log into my account there was a glitch which I already took as a very bad omen so I texted my friend if she could log into my account. Her frst message was "Omg" which pretty much killed me. She then told me that I did alright and sent me a screenshot xD So evil to prank me in that kind of situation but I am just super glad that I passed that one - Thank you so much for doing this! c:
