Masquerade is SO fun. I do love vesnali though. I mean, I am SPRING afterall. hehe. :) But the fancy dresses are just too much fun. Great excuse to run through all those ball gowns shamelessly. :)

I have been crazy busy with work as well! I am NOT looking forward to turning the clocks ahead but I am certainly ready to ditch old man winter for spring joy!

Winter for us lasted about 5 months this year. I know technically season lengths don’t change... but we got our first snow in November and it’s been snowing about one-twice a week since. So me too!! Today was warmer ... but it rained all day so still couldn’t get outside

Tomorrow is supposed to be in the 40s. It’s still not warm... but we plan to go biking anyway!!

lool kind of.... I woke up and the sun hasn't rise yet ;(

The weather here is just mostly wet and cold. We had a small amount of snow earlier but as it was raining at the same time, nothing settled. The sun is shining but it's just lying to us with rumours of spring.

Same with us.. we had all four seasons yesterday. Sunny at 9am.. rain and thunder around 1pm.. hail around 2.. and snow until 10.. now there is hidden water pockets under the snow. Walking the dog this morning was a flipping adventure.

Ugh, I hate changing the time. More light at night is a blessing and a curse. hehe! I AM ready for winter to go go go go!

I work as a "virtual assistant". It's a broad term that captures a large number of jobs. My own job is a lot of social media management, admin work and behind the scenes, I help to run and manage a team that produces weekly dinner meal plans. So it's lots of different tasks all related to the parent company and it's crazy busy but awesome because I have a desk at home and can work without leaving the house which I personally loooove. I'm full time mama to two young children, so not having to leave is wonderful. Parenting full time and working full time simultaneously...well, sometimes I feel like I'm probably insane, but eh. These young years don't last long and I would be sad to miss out on too much of them. :)

Ah jealous! I work from home part time. I’ve been trying to switch to full time work at home. I love working at home. My boss is very old fashioned and doesn’t like when we aren’t in our cubes. I had to fight for 2 years to get a part time work from home position and only finally got it when I moved an hour away from work and said I either needed at least part time at home or I was quitting. I can’t make that drive every single day. I know plenty of people do it... but I would die. He didn’t want to lose me so he agreed.

Now I’m hoping he’ll see my work getting done and eventually agree to a full home position.

That would be fantastic! I have weekly meetings with some of the team and the owner, and we use facetime since we don't live within driving distance. It's worth fighting for! Plus I find myself much more productive than I am after a stressful drive and dealing with all that junk AND work.

Does anyone else thing the sir fuzz from the Token shop is the PERFECT match to the chatterbox pals from Eva?? I'm in love <3

Okay. Stop me if you've heard this story: As a certain Subeta player was getting ready for Masquerade, a family member said the following: "I want to go to Venice. Want to come with me? We can go the week after the Festival of Masks and see what's there." You don't really turn down an offer like that. So for the next week I will be in Venice, Italy! I'm really looking forward to it but I won't be around to dance. If I miss the first part of the dancing, I'll return them when I get back. I hope everyone has a good week!

If I could bring you along I would. It would have been amazing to have you with us as we went around the city. Though I have learned you cannot visit Venice without a seriously detailed map. It felt more like a walking tour at points but we found so many secret places and new areas.

Hi guys! I'm back. Venice was amazing. I never thought I'd see things in real life that make the designs Subeta comes up with seem tame but in terms of mask designs Venice is beyond anything I could expect. There were masks based on steampunk, traditional styles, animal heads, cut metal designs, seashells, lace and everything else. Which makes the competition for designing a new item for the Masquerade ironic though I don't know if they're after masks for this one. Is anyone entering? What is everyone hoping the items will be? More make up? Outfits? Or accessories like masks? I'm curious to know.

I’m attempting to enter. It will be my first CW. So I’m keeping it somewhat simple and doing a shirt design. We can enter up to 3 so if I finish this design on time I may also enter an accessory.
