If you could get your speed to at least 4,000 then you can go up against the castle. If you boost with the mecha and then use cronus, you will be crit hit less often. After 25 turns, you will be at a higher speed and start crit hitting more regularly.

These were my stats at win 1:

Health: 6663  Strength: 4881  Defense: 4003  Speed: 3618 

and my stats at win 6: Health: 7099  Strength: 5117  Defense: 4030  Speed: 4007 

Lmao the prospect of a 25 + round battle sounds exhausting to me haha. I know those are supposed to be long with that guy though. I should probably put him on my Black Friday shopping list though. Looks like he is worth it for the EXP. Isn't his loot junk though? I'll uh.. have to get a Cronus first though. XD Does Cronus boost? I don't see any notes on that on Subetalodge.

The castle is worth it for the experience alone, but the ballista goes for a decent selling price. Battle with the castle is broke up into two stages. It will use the breakable weapons for the most part in the first half of the battle and then switch to the infinite use ones later in battle so you will want to bring three weapons. When you get closer to being ready I can give you more strategy. That's the gist of it though. And I messed up, cronus boosts 25 of everything except health, not 50 so it's more than 25 turns before you get your speed above its speed. Yes they are long battles.

That's a good point. Never think of selling loot instead of using it haha. Thanks for all the advice, I am saving it for later. That's good to know about Cronus too, I had no idea! Put the Castle on my Black Friday list, should definitely be able to take him on before BF 2019.

My list right now is Medieval Research Notes & Cinthilocks and the Three Bears (Bear Head Bomb). I think the only other one that's really worth it is Signet Fusion Knuckles if you don't already have an Aftershocks Scroll. Well besides the year-round Forj & Meatslab. Others might have some thoughts on that though. :D

Which impossible challengers do you have already from the cash shop? I only get the ones that either drop a ton of exp or good loot

Oh ya, Sophie! Can't forget about dem P Blades. I totally understand what you mean. I really did want to buy all the CSC challengers. But when you are like me and missing almost all of them from the previous years, it's just really hard to justify the cost! I have bought every challenger this year though, because somehow I've been at least somewhat active all year. :P I do really wish I could afford them all though, would be nice to have a super-full Cash Shop tab :D I definitely would if they had loot drops beyond 10 like the normal challengers!

Yeah, I'm a bit of a completionist when it comes to the challengers, but it's one thing buying one per month and total other thing when trying to get older ones. At that point it should be about the best value.

Paintbrush blades are cheaper than the challenger, she isn't on the higher end of the difficulty scale, so she isn't interesting from that point.

And Paintbrush blades in general are a budget weapon, without much endgame value. MCAB + Swashbuckle are probably going to be a better intro set than spending sP/CSC on sophie if resources are tight.

I've got a zero speed T10 pet. Well, technically he has 292 speed from tomes lol

It's been interesting. He can get wins on things earlier than an evenly trained pet, for sure. I can finish BQs with him alone now if I get lucky and dodge Chase/Crawbeast/prodigy. I wouldn't recommend anyone without an established armory attempt a zero-speed pet though. Crits hurt, and you get crit a tooooooon with no speed. So it's essential to have a well-rounded armory.

For a first pet: terrible idea, you'll ragequit. For a 3rd/4th pet: super fun idea

I do (and some duplicates from when I like the wearables), but I had to get some later because I missed them. I missed Sophie the first time around so I had to get her on a Black Friday, and I thought I had Surge but didn't so I think I got him around the same time.

Found a tier 3 pet in thempound. No Intel but lol it is all good. :)
