Anyone want to take a look at this guide and find places you disagree
I'm pretty sure I don't have any glaring mistakes like trying to freeze blast an opponent that can't be frozen, but I put this together relatively quickly. Want to make sure I didn't not put steal protection on a opponent that needs steal protection ect.

I don't know enough to get into the nitty-gritty like steal protection, but the very first thing that jumped out to me was where you said you weren't going to list the unobtainable god weapons while listing other weapons that are essentially unobtainable like Sandreaver and Ancestral Unrest.
There are those that are obtainable with a LOT of cash (hello, Sword of the Seven Seas) or time and effort (Cronus Blade, MW, things like that), but it would be nice to see some alternatives listed for the weapons that aren't getting any new ones added any time soon.
Yeah, I'm curious what a more budget-conscious set would look like for each challenger. I know people can usually borrow things, but you feel more accomplished when you can do it by yourself.
I had changed my mind about doing that. Its easy enough to go and sub out OHS for Ostaff, and DGR for Mstaff. The Sandreavers are a little trickier to replace.
Ancestral unrest though - there are 75 of those on the site and they still trade hands. (And the replacement is The Ether.)

Hmm a new scroll has been added to the item directory, I wonder if that means Morostide battle opponents are incoming... :D
Getting excited for the challengers! All in all we have like 8-10 challengers to get... but we shall see what Staff do for this Morostide!
Pretty sure that is the Cash Shop challenger's Scroll.
ooh right, didn’t think about that! xP
i think you should just list the substitutions for the unobtainables because if the guide is supposed to help anyone, itll be the people who dont know how to battle and if those people see that they need a 500bil sp weapon to fight something, theyll probs give up.
either that or list them in a chart somewhere at the top so they know they can substitute out. or just give the disclaimer that this is for the smallest pet possible ultra minmaxing and that stronger pets have more leeway w different weapons or something.
why on earth would you make a guide and only list weapons no one can buy
a more clever guide would list the cheapest, best hustle-like options you can bootstrap together to beat an opponent
people will come to your guide, see they can't ever get any of these weapons and think they can't beat the opponent. counterproductive at best
like telling someone to use a ferrari to commute because it's a car instead of just showing them options they can afford or look forward to
anyone who already owns today any of the OGs you mentionned already knows how to battle just fine and probably could smash through anything using battle sporks anyway
also not mentionning any scroll options
lazy effort 2/10

ugh fine.
but you can only use my black card for dollar menu items.
Still no challengers yet but that's ok. Maybe they'll start popping up in waves soon enough. Wonder if we'll get new achievements too. Battle Loot changes are nice but.... at this rate just having them back is good enough for me.
It does say high end, for chasing high score tables in the description and title. I could add a section for quick substitutions, but I would think that 99% of people looking there would know them already.

I thought the whole point of a guide was to help people who don't already know. If someone already knows the substitutions they won't need the guide in the first place. Who are you even writing it for if that's your logic?
Let’s look at it this way. You don’t even have half these weapons yourself and yet you’re chasing high score tables.
Hundreds of pets nowadays are capable of chasing the HSTs but there’s only a handful of the weapons you mentionned, and they’re overrated anyway. Who are you aiming the guide at? Old school users that either don’t battle anymore or people with super high end pet armies? I don’t think they need it to be frank.
Let’s assume people have a reasonable amount of money, like 300m to 1b to put into a weapon set on a 200 AP pet. That’s high end for 99.5% of the battlers. How would they do it then? It’s entirely possible without chasing 10b+ unicorns and the fact that you seem to be oblivious to that would tend to show you might not be the best person to write that guide to begin with. And I know you’re smarter than that. Show them the hustle. No on

honestly, to me, high end challenger just means imp challenger, it doesnt mean your guide is for minmaxing, and thats how i read your title haha. now i realise you meant that the guide itself is high end, not the challengers. but maybe its just semantics idk.
Was thinking about Rouland and ran his stats for the tenth win:
Health: 38,000 Strength: 13,300 Defense: 9,500 Speed*: 5,000
So he could heal up to 3,800 HP in a turn with his Blood Sucking Bite. And do up to 5,053 damage in one (non-crit) turn? I'm assuming he does two weapons and one scroll each turn, I'm not sure though? Woooo boy he's scary! /hides/
