I'm always trying to get rid of those valuable items (unless I want them for a pet's TC), I have a few in my vault/shop that I'm trying to get rid of, it drives me nuts.

My personal philosophy is that there's no point in saving unless I plan on spending it at some point. It gives me motivation :P

Motivation is soooo nice to have. I remember tracking how much sP I made during a previous quest-a-thon and it made me realize that the MC weapons were obtainable. I had never been as active on the site before and haven't been as active since. :)

I get that motivation, and then I see my place on the richest user board, and I think "It's taken all my time on Subeta to get there....I can't throw it all away!"

Discipline also plays a role. I don't buy CSC with real money so I always make sure to do my quests everyday or I'll have no income :P If you can get yourself to spend 30 minutes doing quests everyday, I guarantee you can get those MC items!

lol I wish I was good at saving but right now the one thing keeping me from spending what I DO have saved is I need funds for Lumi and I know it's not for 2 months I have to get a head start or else I won't even have two thin coins to rub together and spend on friends.

I think people pool their sP together for that achievement now. It's almost impossible to get on your own :(
