I love all the new tweaks to everything except for one thing.

My CW feed only includes shops I follow now. As a result, I've had to follow every shop I find out about. Now, I get a jazillion pings instead of the mere kazillion I got before, and some shops do not allow you to opt out of updates.

The old feed showed me new CWs from shops that I don't follow, too, so I had a chance to see things I wouldn't already know about from the kazillion pings I got every day.

I'd like to have the opportunity to see new CWs from every shop without having to follow them all.

Sorry about the confusion, I meant to say that it used to show Shops I didn't follow, not just newest CWs. I'm a ditz and just finished way too many meeting minutes.

So do we still have to pay a specific amount of CSC depending on what kind of item we're uploading? I haven't seen that yet on the revamped CW page.....

Also, is it possible to do a recolor of another user's CW?

Absolutely not. This would be considered theft and would result in a warning/freezing.

Ohhh..okay. Thanks for the answer. I was wondering because I've seen users express their disappointment over certain CWs not being available/private. If a public recolour of one of those CWs was allowed, I feel that users would buy those.

- It is a user's decision on how many recolors they want to release and whether they are public or private/limited batches. Also this is just a friendly reminder that this thread should be used to discuss the new pages and changes to them :) If you have any questions about custom wearables in general, there's better topics in the CW forum to ask those on!

Ah... I guess I totally forgot about that. Well... Technically I was thinking that it would be nice to change it to a similar layout to the current way it is that it's seen on the CW submission page, but I think it's fine for now.

yah. You're right. and I think it took me a couple of days before I realized that I had to click the "createCW" to go to my feed.

I was just hoping this revamp (which, again, I like the page revamp), would just cut out that 'middle step' where you have to click 2 pages before you can get to your feed.

Or at least a little 'note' that you need to click the CreateCW, link to get to your feed, etc.

I was just thinking of the newbies, that "first time creator" After they "create" their item.

It has always been like that, yes, but it was also suggested by many people prior to this update that it be changed. It doesn't make sense for any newbies to the cw scene to assume that clicking "create cw" would take them to the page where they can see what they owe/what they've paid on etc. That's why people are still asking - this page is far more easy to navigate, and thus it should be the page linked on the drop-down - and it has a link to "Your CW Shop" which could easily be altered to be "CW Shops" if anyone found it that confusing to realize you get to the cw shop nav from there - but it's definitely overall way more clear of a place for that drop down to send folks.

I helped test all the way through on this and I just really want to say thanks again for making these improvements. They were sorely needed and it's so nice to see the pages organized, easy to find, and clear. I didn't have a single problem in the closed beta that wasn't rectified pretty quickly and I love seeing it all functional for everyone. I think this is really going to help folks in the long-run.

The way I see it is it's in the Cash Shop drop down as a selling to buyers link. We're the consumers looking for CW's. So naturally it's going to show us a list of new items to tempt us, list shops we follow (again, We Are Buyers), give us a link for searching to buy things, and a way to manage our own shops, AS WELL AS link us to where we would go (bolded, in a bright box) to then create our own customs. It's similar to how they have the Rewards Card linked but not the actual loyalty shop. The loyalty shop is linked on the rewards card page (and the currency page), but the main thing is the card: buy csc and you get rewarded.

Yeah...but people who slotted not being able to find the place they have to pay discourages buying more than clicking on that page and seeing the full menu of options, including a link to CW Shops.

I don't understand why customers have to jump through hoops to find the page to make payments. It seems like it should be the page linked to - and quite a lot of people have agreed both before and after this revamp - which is why people brought it up here - since to find the revamped page without clicking in here, they have to guess where to click on the feed page (or know that clicking 'create cw' will take you to this advertised, newly revamped page, that you cannot access without either knowing the link or knowing that it's hidden behind the 'create cw' button).

Idk if that helps explain the reasoning better or not, but as both a buyer and a seller, I shouldn't have to memorize web addresses to get to things I need. And as non-staff, I shouldn't have to explain to people how to find things because they're not easily or clearly accessible. But I do. All the time.

[edit] There's no search feature related to CW Shops/feeds anymore on that page (just mentioning because you said people can search on that page, and they can't - that was taken away when they layout was redone to show the newest CWs from anyone rather than showing you the list of shops you followed with a random selection of items from them).
