I am part of the group and I still missed it. I just plain suck.

Well, one thing that helps me is that the things that I want to do/check daily -- I subscribe to a thread and then I post once I have done/checked that thing. So here I post what I got that day, MB thread I post after I've checked what it is, etc... Then all I have to do is check my recent post log to make sure I didn't miss anything. I also don't delete the alert until the thing is done -- as another safeguard. Overkill? For sure, but when your memory is as bad as mine is...
