Hello ! Username: epsilon Character: Seongwon Additional notes: Seongwon is a Korean Jindo dog who was blessed by the magical entities of his universe to become human and now can shift between being a dog, a human, and an intermediate form (human but with dog ears, tail, and legs of a dog).

He's a dancer who practices both traditional Korean dance (fan dancing, mask dancing, and Cheoyongmu are his specalities) and modern dance (modern + hip hop). I'm really not too particular with the pose, I truly adore your art and trust your vision, so I'll be happy with anything! What's most important to me, is the vibe of the piece. His character is based on blending grace with strength. He has been through a lot and his story is about facing pain and past trauma and learning to accept/love/be at peace with one's self. So anything that can capture a person who is strong yet soft, would be great! If you need more details about his personality or story, I'd be happy to provide them if you thought that it would be helpful. Type: fullbody, please Payment: USD

I'll leave you with three choices of outfits (but if you are most comfortable with me deciding I can pick one). I always like the artist to have fun with the commission and do what they are most comfortable with. Oh, he also always wears winged eyeliner (it's okay just to extend his upper lash line).

Outfit 1: his "magical boy" outfit xxxx

Outfit 2: hanbok xxxx The jeogori (the red part) is plain like my forum image, so no need to worry about the pattern The gat (hat) is optional His fan is plain white

Outfit 3: casual outfit xxxx He has vertical scars on both knees, you're welcome to draw them peeking through the rips in his pants, but that's up to you if you think you can fit them in/they can be read as scars.

Hair ref: I know the most inconsistent thing in my art refs is his hair so I thought this might help! hair He can have it parted any way or wear ir brushed forward more like this xxxx so I'll leave it up to you on how to style it!

You're also welcome to draw him as fully human or with just dog ears and tail. His intermediate form usually has dog legs too, but its okay just to do the ears and tail or just ears.

AAAAAAAAAA! I'm going to weep he looks so beautiful! I love how you are able to capture so much life in your art! I'm really happy that you went with a modern look! I do have quite a bit of art with traditional clothes (I am very soft for hanbok/traditional looks), but he does live in the modern world so I definitely need more of him with a modern style. Plus, I think I've finally solidified his design + outfit line up so I'm so so so happy with this and to have a more "official" look for him!

One minor thing, and it honestly okay just to leave things the way that they are, but his knee scars should be vertical like this /Standing-view-with-knee-extended-and-reduction-of-patella-luxation-at-one-year-follow-up.png">xxxxx. I'm not sure if the scars can still be read as scars/seen well if they're vertical like that. If it doesn't work out to be fixed, that's okay!

no worries, my deer, it's okay! i really like the version with the scars!! they're quite important to his story/development (he is very self-conscious of his scars/hates them and usually hides them, but later he looks at them as something beautiful because they represent how he overcame death/his strength and resilience so i'm happy to have a piece of him showing off the scars!)
