This one was super fun to create, and I loved creating the stories behind them. Private Outfit

When the time comes to transition the seasons, the Winter Shepherd and the Spring Shepherd meet in a faerie field of neutral territory where they spend two days together, living out the last day of winter and the first day of spring as a pair. And though it is in her nature to bristle and stand strong, Chimona can never be stubborn for long before Aniox's spring charm melts away her icy exterior. They savor one another's company; they may only see each other once a year after all.

For the undying, a year passes in the breeze and two days is simply a breath.

cool new idea for a contest! i'm taking a risk with this one and trying something a little different >< i used these two items for my faerie and pixie respectively (i know seelie creatures are "good" but the colours suited better the other way around so mehhh) and bloody hell my story took ages and it's not even that battle-y but at least it's something, so here it is!

That time had come around again. The time to summon the creatures of Spring, those that with their dancing steps and gentle touch brought new life to the earth. Their tiny body may be fragile but the Spring Faeries held a huge responsibility. They had gathered their strength over the last season and, finally, their magic could be released. The friendly troll they summoned began their rumbling shuffle, feet sinking into the soil, planting warmth and nourishment and helping the plants sprout and bloom. The Faerie felt this was their best summoning in too many moons, and would surely hold the Winter Pixies at bay for longer this season. Private Outfit In the North, the weakening Winter Pixie felt the first stirrings of warmth in the earth. They didn't want to believe it. Didn't want it. Not yet. The end of Winter meant the end of snow, the end of ice-covered ponds, of frost covered grass crunching underfoot. It meant the end of icy gales biting at cheeks and exposed flesh. The Pixie wasn't ready. It started to draw on the brittle temperatures buried in the deepest ice, strengthening it's power, just enough to summon one last creature of Winter, a dragon, one last friend to soar above the crackling branches with. One last stand, one last hard frost before they would have to slumber until the Faeries began to weaken once again, when they would emerge once more, stronger than ever. Private Outfit

Entering for the Winter Pixie Private Outfit Frisha, a frost pixie lives deep within the high frost mountains in which she observes the snowy valleys below. Her only company is herself. But before, she initially wasn't all by herself. She was with someone dearest to her. Another frost pixie who had an optimistic outlook on everything in contrast to her. His bright attitude eventually seeped into Frisha who started to appreciate everything, even led her to enjoy the spring seasons and to try new things. He opened up Frisha to the world.

However, it all changed one winter. Frisha's icy abilities exceeded her potential and became nearly uncontrollable. Her dearest tried to help but she became distant to avoid hurting him. That is until he reached out to comfort her, Frisha unintentionally froze his entire arm. Shocked to see Frisha in this state, he left without a word. Consequently, Frisha feels intense remorse for what she's done to her dearest and made refuge on the frosty mountaintops to see when her beloved would come back; withdrawing herself from everything she found enjoyable. With her ability becoming out of control, she created her own winter climate strong enough to affect the lower green valleys miles away from the mountains.

By springtime, this has angered the spring faeries who feel that Frisha is completely unbalancing the seasons and partially wreaking the environment. This wasn't part of Frisha's intention whatsoever but she finds the cold very comforting as it fills the void of her lost loved one. Once the winter is gone, she feels lost forever. Unless her beloved returns or someone else could convince her and comfort her loss, winter will likely stay for a while.

Spring Fairy / Winter Pixie

Born and raised amidst the war, they only knew the world before as the older ones told. A world where water would fall from above and the mountains were covered the most exquisite shapes and colors. A place where life roamed freely, able to reach every corner of creation; an unique land unlike no other in the cosmos. The elders said it was beautiful... and they believed it. For the thought of a different reality was the only thing that kept them going, now that everything had long disappeared.

So they fought. Battle after battle, saving that paradise filled their hearts with hope and drove them into the battlefield. They drove their blades through frozen wastelands, bringing heat and light back to the world. The enemy was strong and many of their comrades had fallen, but it was all worthy. Once the last monster had finally being slain, they could rebuilt and start over. No more endless awaken days or running from the shiny mist, as they knew war was almost over and victory was close.

Everything was empty. They were the last generation able to breath, and now the last ones standing alive. Finally, there was only one monster left, one final conflict before they finally reached "happily ever after". After all the pain and sadness, they could finally glimpse a brighter future. All they had to do to finally fix the world and put and end on their misery lied on the death of a tiny evil beast, so they charged together weapons firmly at hand in one last battle cry.

But it wouldn't die. They slashed, pierced and hurt some more but it still wouldn't fall. The last one! The very last one. It's strong, but it grows weak. Victory is so close they could feel it...

A hollow body trapped in constant motion. A mindless spirit bound by its mission. An endless war.
