It really helps to follow these rules, because if you ping too often, people will stop checking your thread in anticipation of it being the same item again and they're already not interested.

I tend to find that posting will prevent other users from then also posting or commenting to let you know. That way you only get one notice about it, and not a ton n_n I just don't want people getting spammed with rules because I know it gets super annoying when you've already gotten the info!
