I fully intend to find a proper solution, but in the meantime, what if I added a sentence the the clearing message that explains it might be off by one day? Like just adding the sentence "Due to an unresolved glitch, it may clear one day early or late." (I'm open to suggestions on wording it)

That way at least it isn't misleading. I totally get how frustrating it is to miss a name when there was no way to know it might glitch. So at least this would give everybody a fair heads up.
