"My lady, why are you in this somber corner all alone?" She turned around to acknowledge the unknown gentlemen. "Good evening, Sir" she responded in a monotone voice. She bowed. "I am to await my master-ster, Sir." He frowned at her battered condition; an eye was missing and her leg was cracked. "How long have you waited?" "Approximately three hours and twelve miiiiiinutes, Sir." The tech in his mask completed its scan and he inquired as to what happened to her. "That informatiooooon is private, Sir. I am sorry, Sir, I misssspoke. I am to await my master, Siiir." She turned away from him and resumed her stance.
He stepped towards her and whispered, "Override Code: TY-Stella-H3Lp." She remained motionless for a moment, and when she faced him again, he took her hand and escorted her to the dance floor. "Sir, I do not unnnnderstannnd. I am-" "A fine lady. As your creator, I am proud to have an exemplary daughter, and I would be honored to share a dance with you."
She let go of his hand. "Sir, I have approxroximately six minnnnnutes of-" "I know. I also know I programmed the Stella series with an extensive dance library. My lady, would you like to dance until the end?" She lowered her face and curtsied. "Let us dance," she grinned as she took his hand.

I made a tribute of sorts to Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia, because I heard this song the other day and it made me think of her, and these new wigs from the masquerade shop are the same type of hairstyle she wore at the end of A New Hope. The song is about an astronaut passing away and "coming home," and I like it because it's uplifting even though it's about something sad.

Loved all of the sci-fi items released this year and wanted to play with some Bladerunner-esque themes (human-like robots) and immediately thought of Daft Punk.

Private Outfit Song: Grace Kelly by MIKA Outfit: So one night I couldn't sleep and so I ended up listening to this song on repeat for about an hour and a half, and when it came time for me to think of an outfit idea I thought of this one line in the song:

"Should I bend over? Should I look older just to be put on your shelf?"

And so I decided I would take that idea and create a doll! When he says. "...put on your shelf?" I immediately thought of a doll, so I ended up taking it literally and creating a little girl's toy.

Basically, I think this song has a very... I guess... Majestic, regal-ish (as you can probably tell, I'm horrible at describing things) sound, AND the lyrics talk about dancing which I thought was perfect for Masq. I think this HA is pretty majestic and regal, so it works :)

my entry for contest 2 :) Private Outfit the song: 'King of Insects' by Assemblage 23 the item: Onyx Jeweled Headpiece (lol if it looks like it was thrown in last minute it's because it totally was. i forgot the rules like a noob XD) ok so i know technically spiders are arachnids and not insects, but i like to think this guy probably rules over all of the creepy crawlies of the undergrowth. he's probably got an army of spider enforcers who generally bully the other insects into line. what line that is, only he knows.
