Can you please share where the dance link is? Like, link to the specific forum post?

Okay so it's just a problem with dance links and not the dance buttons next to each forum post, right?

It also should not be an issue with dance links in forum signatures, correct? And I think it's only for the FIRST post of that topic, right?

Note for future reports: Please specify clearly exactly what the dance link is and where it is located, otherwise I don't know where to investigate.

The issue is with the cache time, so I was trying to figure out which specific part of the cache needed to be decreased for the event. I think I have figured it out though (it was just forum posts as far as I can tell) and I've deployed an update. Please allow 2 hours for everything to fully uncache.

As a workaround, you can let the posters of the forum topics know, they can force the cache to refresh by editing their first post (click the Edit Post button and then click Submit, you don't actually need to change any of the text.)

Oh that's really interesting. So they work from Recent Posts, but not from the post itself in the forum topic?

Side note, did you send the correct links? I don't see any dance links in either of the places you linked. The post you linked doesn't have any dance links in it, but there is a dance link in your signature, is that what you meant?

If you read the topic, you can see we are trying to fix it, and even attempted a fix. Unfortunately it's not easy or clear what is causing the problem right now. However, the dance buttons under the HAs on the Masquerade forum should work fine if you need a workaround to still dance with people.

Unfortunately the caching problems are a bit of a mess, so I've come up with a different solution.

Now, if your link is expired, the error message will give you a fresh link to click. That should at least make it possible to continue dancing :)
