That's nice you do that for the other family members. we've had our AC running all winter long.Between the people above us & the people below us They have there heat up so high it gets to be 78 degrees in here.We have ceiling fans & regular fans going all the time.The top people just moved out so maybe it won't get so bad. Day 402 a Baking Starter Kit

My grandmother is like that. It was only a few months ago she could so much as get up. If she passes, I'll miss the once joyful woman I barely remember as a child. But I look forward to seeing her again, as she was meant to be.

Yes it's true I will see her again some day but I will miss her. It's selfish of me as she has no real quality of life and all her memories are gone but I just don't want it to happen so close to my sister dying. She sleeps most of the time which is a good thing. Doc says her dream state is so much better than her reality. Going to talk to her nurse today about possible therapy or exercises for her legs.

Dreaming... something I can no longer do. I can't imagine how that is.

You're lucky! All I do is dream and can't get into a deep dreamless sleep. One of the reasons I'm so tired all the time. No restful sleep.

Still a nightmare, I feel inhuman that way. But yes, I can wake up at dawn everyday. Makes weekends a hassle, everyone's early is my midday.

After reading what you wrote, I am reminded that I am so Blessed to be living in a single housing unit. (well, 2 really, they built on to our house. But daughter's family is simply more of our own).

Yes,you are blessed. It's not to bad really.You just adjust your temp so your comfortable.It doesn't really make a difference if you use the heat or the AC.Both The heat & AC are electric.Like last night I turned the AC on 72.So the bottom neighbor has their heat temp up high. The top one has moved unless they left theirs heat on high when they moved out.That could be a possibility. Hugsss do you ever open the window a crack so your comfortable? I have such heat/cold issues! I don't sleep well when I am too hot but the noise of the fan bothers me also. Yeesh! It doesn't get freezing cold here, I am SO THANKFUL not to be in Ohio anymore: I was so cold for those 10 winters! I still shudder when I think about driving to work, with a blanket on my legs and having to pull over and scrape off the ice because my breathing would condense on the glass, and the windshield wipers couldn't remove the ice that collected on the outside. Mercy!

Where you at Lady friend? I was so tired last night, I went to work at 8:30 pm! It was great, I woke up at 5:00 and only hit the snooze once! :)

In winter it can get to the point that I sleep without blankets and open windows. Oddly in summer its the opposite.
