198 days in a row! You found 1 Bathhouse Tokens
VERY Blessed! I am so grateful for my family and our home. Now... how about some bounty of the monetary kind....? I just got "the call" from my CC company to cut up the credit card... yeesh. Purim and Pesach were exacting this year... Yikes!
Thank you . Hope you had a wonderful Passover!
Life is short... Count your Blessings, Love your family and friends and lend a helping hand whenever you can!

Day 169 --- You found 4 Quest Points in the pool!

: Oh, I see... I'm wondering, is it very hard to take care of a relative with end-stage Alzheimer's?
Imagine loving someone so much that can't speak words, doesn't know who you are, doesn't understand simple instructions, has to be bathed and changed by a stranger, doesn't realize what is going on and has the mentality now of a 4 year old. She is now to the point where her blood pressure is hard to maintain and has to stay in bed a lot of the time. She can't toilet herself and so must be cleaned all the time. This last month she has been in bed more than out of it and is starting to develop bed sores on her butt. I'm doing everything I can to prevent them but the bruising that is a precursor to them has started. What started our realization that her blood pressure was dropping dangerously low is that she fainted dead away at the kitchen table. Ended up having to let her lie on the kitchen floor until she woke up and had to have three people to help me get her back into bed. She is on hospice and has someone that comes weekday mornings to give her a bed bath but it's all me on the weekends and throughout the day and evenings. My mom weighs around 275 pounds and is very hard to transfer. I have to get my daughter's to help me when I have to do it. She doesn't like it when they help and tends to fight them. Has pushed, hit and tried to break their fingers at times. The fact is she is nearing the end. Also imagine that you sleep in the same room with her and are hoping every morning that she will still be alive when you wake up. This is just a fraction of what I deal with every day. So to answer your question... yes, it is difficult, exhausting and stressful.

bathhouse 199 days in a row! 20 crystals
I danced until midnight, which is 7:00 a.m. for me. Had to rush and didn’t have time to eat breakfast before work and have such heartburn....!!! Oy !
Thank you all for all the dancing :D
I have an inkling of that. My grandmother is in the same situation. She had a mini stroke a few weeks ago. She's 98 and it can be harsh knowing her time may be short now.
Heart wrenching. I wish I could come over there and give you a hug and some time off. HUG
Sorry about your grandmother.
HUGS ❤

You have visited the bathhouse 110 days in a row! You found 30 CSC in the pool!
YAY!! I just love CSC days. I just might have enough now for a Gold Account Medal!! Whoo Hoo!
: I can understand your feelings and frustrations with elderly parents. Mine have entered that fiercely independent-stubbornly-helpless stage and it's heartbreaking. I pray for your comfort and strength as well as your peace of mind during this difficult time.
: were you able to get enough tokens to get all the new items? I may just have enough this year. Last year I missed out on getting some of the more expensive items. Maybe I'll have enough tokens to go back and get some of those last year's items.
200th day visiting the BathHouse. 30 CSC. Nice! [edit] You've earned the Visit the Bathhouse achievement!
Thank you for asking! I decided not to get new wardrobe items. I am concentrating on beanbags and plushies so I have to go through from the beginning. SOMEday I will have enough coins to buy a Yunium Key (for the achievement). Maybe in another 10 hehehe Your HA looks very summer-y! PS I danced one dance with Welly! :) I should have taken a screen shot. Made me smile :D RE: (Above) Thank you!
My thoughts and prayers with you today.
: I got the Yunium key the first year it came out and I danced my tail off to get it. I didn't get any of the wardrobe items that year. I still didn't have enough tokens to actually buy it, but I was also buying gold account medals and restocking them for sP so that I could purchase tokens in those steamworks carpet bag thingies. those keys are 5000 tokens! Consequently, I only have one steamwork pet, but he was one of the first to be produced from what I was told by one of the admins. You'll get there one day! HAHA another 10! You are so right about that. I plan on being here for another ten years for sure.
My HA is made to represent my fishing outfit as I tell it in my books. My father taught me how to spear fish in the streams and lakes of the Sierra Nevada foothills and mountains. (the cold never bothered me anyway....) I wear a grass skirt to protect the fur on my flank from abrasion from the net fish sack I tie around my waist that holds my catch. There should be a bone knife tucked in the knot, but Subeta doesn't have such an artifact. The spear is pretty close to the one I write about in my stories.
Normally that's it. But because Subeta shows females 'full featured' I make my HA wear a neckless to cover the chest for modesty sake. I wear the shell crown on my HA to soften the interface between the ears and the wig. I wish they had better weasel ears and not these massive fox ears.
I imagine the character as a lot smaller, so the ears would be bigger, like they are on her should pet in ration to her head. It suits her. But I wish for you that there was that item! A bone knife! Why does that seem like something I have seen here. Oh how I miss Go Fetch!
