Maybe I should give the original second gen games a try? Just to try and see how it compares to the remakes... or maybe just finish one of the current games I'm playing... oops.

Mainly I write fanfiction, and most of what my bran churns out are either super edgy, angst ridden stories or dumb stuff like what if a characters dying words were the ocean man lyrics.

Currently playing a pokemon pearl hack that makes the game more difficult and has different pokemon. It's pretty fun! Like really early on, you can find zapdos and entei... at level 12... in the wild.

I actually love both, but I have more of a fondness for the original. :D

I was working on White and Y last year (super behind on trying to catch up with all the games!), but stopped playing them when I had a major exam to study for...and then grad school to apply to...and work got hectic as well. Gah, I gotta find time to get back into them!

What fandoms do you write for? Currently I'm in a Game of Thrones fanfic rut. I think it's because I didn't like the last season and writing fanfics helps me to deal with the painXD

Don't worry, I totally understand. Sometimes, university can really overwhelm you... Well, life in general sometimes.

As of right now, I'm mainly writing Steven Universe fanfic... which I should really continue (oops). Also, yeah, I heard the last couple of game of thrones seasons were disapointing. Never got into the show myself (read the first four books back in highschool though!)

Season 7 is the only one (until Season 8 comes out, if the writing doesn't improve) that I really didn't like. Up until then all seasons were fun and engaging to watch.

Up until Season 7 no one acted out of character in big ways and the plot holes weren't so noticeable. Such as Tyrion Lannister is known for being extremely good at strategy and Daenerys Targaryen is an A+ Conquerer. So you'd think their opposition would really have to up their game. Nope, they dumbed Tyrion down and made Daenerys forget how to conquer.

They also forgot the historical fact that Robb Stark was the last king of the North before Jon Snow.

I think people have problems with either Seasons 4-7 or 5-7 but, for me, Season 7 is the first time things have gotten so bad.

Also...Jon/Dany could've been done well but it was so BLAND in Season 7. And I have to deal with a good majority of the fandom going on how perf the relationship was in Season 7.

I do prefer Jorah/Dany BUT I'm a multi-shipper and I ship conflicting ships. So if Jon/Dany was done WELL I would've been happy. I was actually looking forward to seeing what all the hype was about them and then Season 7 >.<

Anyways...I have a few fics I should continue but...yeah...XD
