I ended up choosing one of the older ones that I had before we could keep the skins: Foot Rash. It was the last of the original 4 that I was missing (I managed to get infected with Boobitis just before Survival ended)

Boobitis is one of my favourites. So is Eyesore. I've had both of them for years. I managed to get Foot Rash this year, along with 9 other strains.

I'm already in the process of finishing off a year, most of what I have left still needs 2+ strains to complete and I kinda have a quota with one new strain per year after feeling like something was missing when I had a year that I didn't get one of the new ones.

Since we are able to get old ones, I went with Faceworms, cus I would have gotten that one this year if the timing had worked out to get another 8 stage one, but I had bad luck with timers and went with lobster face to be safe.

I would have gotten pointy if we were limited to 2021.

Hooray, I picked up Magical! :) It was my first strain this year, but unfortunately I was effected by the bug and didn't get to keep it. It was my favorite originally, but honestly I think Grainy became my favorite, it's just so darn cute 😆 I can't wait to make an outfit to match the Magical skin though, it looks like it'll be a fun challenge! I always struggle with picking clothes that don't cover up too much of the gorgeous art!

I liked the stage of grainy where the little crab has a question mark because he doesn't know where you went. :)

Yess, me too, he was so cute! I would love to get some sort of item based on him some time like we did with the little robots from Metalmorphosis. :)

I went with Death Worms because the progression is a big no-no for me but the final skin isn't as bad.

Oooh, yeah, I feel the same way about Lobotomeat. 😣 If I ever get that or Death Worms, I'll probably slap a background over my avatar so I don't have to watch it play out LMAO

@ Rivalous That’s really great! I think the only years I’ve completed are 2009 (once this strain matures) and 2020. The rest are all over the place. :P

@ KiaArra If we were only allowed to choose a 2021 strain like they originally stated I was going to get delicate which is the last 2021 one I needed. But when the news came out saying we could choose ANY one.... well... enough said! Lol... :D

Me too! It's super pretty - I'm a fan of Blistered Hearts and Clusterflux for the skeletal look, so I'm very happy to have yet another flavor of skeleton to dress up :D

Yeah, Lobtomeat has the darkest stages I've EVER SEEN!

I chose Grainey because the stages kinda bored me for the most part.

I'm actually running out of strains I want to get. I'm definitely getting Bindi Bite and Dolly Dreadful next year since their stages aren't as disgusting. I may start out with a vial strain first though because I want to wait on getting a 2022 skin until I see the stages. I went with Magical and it kind of disappointed me, so I wasn't bothered by losing it to the glitch.

I know LOL I watched in horror as it progressed when it was released :'( I'm glad I didn't choose it, haha, I like the creepy strains, but not the overly gorey ones!

I got Blistered Hearts for my free skin <3. I got 10 skins this year!

I was a bit disappointed yesterday, since my last skin progression completed 2-3 hours after the end of survival. I hoped snug at least a vial or new skin at the last moment T.T

But at least we have this amazing "Free 2021 skin" option. I took Heartburn, cause I couldn't watch its progression, honestly. I had some minor skin conditions a few years before. And Heartburn reminds of them a lot D: But at least my 2011 skin collection (what a dark name xD) will be complete next year.
