You, uh ... you do know that Humming Power Crystals are worth under 2k, right? And that you'll only get 1-2 crystals from most things you frag? So you're pretty much turning 35k into 3k. Oof. I hope people buy Crystal Shop items from you!

Hahahah it's terrible isn't it. Up until I got my gold account when I was pricing my shop manually I just got so fed up and bored that I drew a line and said I wouldn't bother with anything too cheap because it takes too long. And now I'm in the habit even with the autopricer. I've actually only been picking up items I need for achievements/stickers/collections from the crystal shop so I've not been selling any of them but I'm happy with that - hustling for achievements is pretty much all I do.

Maybe I'll stop being so lazy when (and if) I ever clear the crystal shop of shit I want/need :P

I might use that sometimes. I need a lot of crystals too often. Sometimes I just vend and throw it all into the fragmentizer but since I haven't done Wizard Quests in a while, I'm low on those too. x3 Why do I have to be so lazy? D:

Bad heat wave here and next week will be worse :S Wasn't able to do anything for Canada day other than try to keep Gismo & me cool. I did go to my garden but ouff even early morning it was tough. I hate summer, I really do.

@ teacup132 I feel you. It's pretty bad and humid where I am too and it probably won't let up any time soon. My sister even invite a friend over because we had air conditioning and she didn't.

I still went out for fireworks - we had ice cream and we had a breeze by the lake, so it wasn't all that bad. That being said though, I have to deal with these things:

You can't walk anywhere without hearing something pop and when they're here in big numbers, it starts to smell like fish. I spent a lot of time pulling them out of my hair and even then, I managed to find one in the bathtub. ;~;

ewe, that sure is a bug prob! Reminds me of when I lived in China for 3 years when I was a kid. The gov had previously decided to eliminate the bug prob to scare the birds away (no eaters so no food... bad logic) and the bugs rejoyed... then they removed the grass (no food for the bugs no bugs... bad logic) the bugs remained and dust storms rejoyed. By the time I was there they were encouraging birds to come back and planting grass (1 blade at a time)

That plan just... didn't make any sense.

Our bugs are a nuisance but they're an indicator species of healthy lakes apparently. They also feed the birds and fish to the point where there's little point in fishing because the fish are full. We usually have to fill our bird feeders daily but they haven't come in lately because they would rather eat all the bugs.

well at least the food chain is working, although it still can be a bother. Hopefully, their life cycle is short so you don't have to deal with them long.

The bugs themselves are only alive for a few days at most but they're around for a couple weeks in the very least.

So Neugarten achievements didn't happen before the end of the event. I bought everything just in case they come out later. I have a problem.

I think I've decided what I'm going to spend my 250m shop till on (not far off now, won't be long!!) I figure I'll blow through most of it picking up last food/book items I need for achievements, maybe get some plushies and beanbags if I can knock any of those achievements through easily because I can't see myself ever coming by the super expensive items otherwise. Wearables and shit would be cool but I know I'll regret not picking up single use items whilst I can before I go back to perpetual poverty :P At least I'll be able to empty my shop till regularly? And maybe I'll stop fragging everything so Pun can stop despairing at me?

The remaining book/plushie/beanbag/food/wardrobe achievements I need are going to get pretty expensive, so they're more of a long term aim.

Games-wise, most of the ones I need now are cumulative (bugs, ghosts etc), or random (mind reader, safe crack, specific gravedigger finds etc), but I'm lazy and they require effort/repetition. Skill/strategy wise I guess the next ones on my list are Matlal's Jewels Level, Fast as Lightning, and Leviathan Harpooning level 9

P.S. I frag/hoard for recycling anything under 10k because I'm also lazy at manually pricing, so I'm with you on that ;)

Laziness is the best excuse for anything. And 10k seems like a perfectly reasonable limit for "can't be arsed to deal with this"! It's where I initially set mine, back when fragging was less crystally. Even now and with Autoprice I only stick things in the shop if they're over 7k or so, and pull them back to Vault if they're under 5k...

Ooh, Achievement-hunting. I've mostly been going for the collecting ones (wardrobe, book, food, plushie, beanbag, sticker). I'm bad at most of the games, especially the timed ones. Suggestions for easy/easier achievements is my jam; any recommendations?

I had a look at your achievements and I'm impressed! And also a bit jealous at how many retired achievements I'll never be able to get lol :P I appreciated being able to go back and buy super old anniversary items for the achievements even if I have to pay through the nose for them.

I don't suppose you know if Balloon Poppin Donator and Gamer! are still actually earnable? I have plenty of game achievements but no progress at all on Gamer! and the balloon donation seems to want 0 of the balloons I've ever tried to offer it but I'm not sure if I'm just being a bit dense or if they're actually a bit broken/retired? And never been quite sure who or where to ask

The patience you must have to sell everything 7k and over. I hope one day I can find the inner strength for that hahah. That's interesting though - hoarding for recycle beast. Makes a lot of sense (achievements!) but I use my Vault for storing things I'll need sometime soon (e.g. right now it's full of achievement items from the brewery I'm slowly feeding to my poor pet who's had nothing to eat but booze for the past week) so I feel like I'd lose things I actually needed if I stored all my random junk in there for recycling.

That thread you linked mentions how to get the free food achievement if you're already sat on too much sp and says just stick all your money in a forum group's bank - but can you get it back out again if you do that? Lmao. I love nvlb very much but I don't think we're at that stage in our relationship where I'm willing to hand over all my worldly wealth ;) It's also interesting that the billboards are so cheap, I'd have no idea what to put on one but I do want the achievement and title hmmm

It can happen - I traded 8 items for 2 items and one of the ones I got was a plushies worth ~30 mill. I fully intend on completing that collection one day though. I still have about 800 left but hey, I'm under 1000!

And I also guess you don't want the pictures of my friend's car when he made the mistake of parking under a light. :P

@ Bull You can, though Staff doesn't seem to like that workaround for Sarah's Quest (though I don't think anyone gets in trouble for it).

You could always have somebody hold your sP for stuff like that. I made myself poor for Sarah though - there's always stuff I need, so it was kind of fun to keep knocking things off of my wishlists to stay under the 750k limit (I think it's 1.5mill now though). I don't think most people like doing that though.
