Apple mint
Totally never realized how many mint cultivars existed until I looked up chocolate mint. (Peppermint itself is a mint hybrid, who knew!)

If only I'd known the spearmint trick (and been able to actually plant and successfully grow it; I suspect a local cat would have eaten it before it did any good even if I DID get it to set near the stupid shrubs by the front of my apartment) while I had my vole problem in the winter, I'd liked to have seen if it would have helped even though they're technically not mice (we call them field mice, but the internet informed me they're not mice at all >>; ).
