Lately, I discovered that my pet Mililani has to read about 500 + more books. Utter madness! :-)
So I thought why not throw an annual Book Club Party with book-related prizes. Perhaps you find some dusty old books under your armchairs, nibbled on or shredded by your cats, no problem, IĀ“ll take them all in (including the cats, LOL).
You gain raffle tickets for sending me books to read to my pet Mililani. Here is her reading list:
There is a wide price variety of books on her list and you gain 1 raffle ticket for every 500k sP worth, rounded over. (I usually go by user shop worth yet when the item is in a currency shop, IĀ“ll count the currency needed. When the book is actually in a Subeta shop, IĀ“ll count the official worth.)

1. Which are my most loved genres?
Fantasy, especially stuff with magic or the fae/fairy involved. I seem to remember you telling me once that you love stories that feature succubus.
2. Which are my most loved books of all the times? Harry Potter partly because they were the first books you read in English, also because they're awesome.
3. From which series I am awaiting the movie eagerly (if produced at all somewhen)? This is a total shot in the dark: Terry Pratchett's DiscWorld series or perhaps Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter series?
4. I read everyday. When and where? You like to read on the train during your commute home from work.
5. Which is the book IĀ“ve read about 20 times because I love the authors way with words? I would say Harry Potter but that's a book series, so I really don't know so I'm going to go with one of my favorites - Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch by Terry Pratchett'& Neil Gaiman. I absolutely love the beginning of the book and I can't begin to guess how many times I've read just that part lol
6. In which language are most of the books written which I read? I'm going to make a very American guess and say English, because I know a lot of books are published in English and I really don't know how many books are published originally in German or get translated into it....?
7. Which was the first book I read with my grandparents? I'm going to guess "Der satanarchƤolĆ¼genialkohƶllische Wunschpunsch," because the main character is a cat and it's about magic, plus look at that amazingly long German word right there in the title.
8. Are my cats really able to read? Yes! I used to have a cat that did word searches with me and when we 'spelled' words around him so he 'wouldn't know what we were saying' he always knew anyways and I just refuse to believe he's the only cat who can read. We all know cats are secret geniuses the only reason people think they can't read is because most of them are too sneaky to let us know exactly how smart they really are! wink wink
9. Do I prefer a Kindle or real books? I really want to say real books, because I love real books - but - the fact that when you're reading a book on a Kindle you can look up any word you don't know right there on the page without needing to look it up later (I love that feature and I only read books in my first language lol). Plus it's much easier to carry a Kindle than most books because they are compact and easy to fit in any bag/purse and you can have multiple books at your fingertips and only need the one thing with you. Also since you like to read on the train and I don't know what the light is like (especially in the winter) I think the fact that some kindles have their own built in light source that could come in very handy. So weighing those practical advantages for reading during your commute I'm going to guess KINDLE.
My lovelies, I have to close this mini event 50 minutes early yet I think most of you are asleep anyway now. The storm has damaged our railways and I have to commute with busses today and leave an hour early from here.

QUESTIONNAIRE ANSWERS
1. Which are my most loved genres? Time Travel, Fantasy, Chick-Lit. Yes, I also read this Succubus series. Fantasy characters are fun, I love it when they do magic.
2. Which are my most loved books of all the times? The Outlander Saga by Diana Gabaldon and The Dragons of Pern by Anne McCaffrey. I love HP and Tolkien, too, yes!
3. From which series I am awaiting the movie eagerly (if produced at all somewhen)? Pern. I would love to see the dragons come to life and wouldnĀ“t it be wonderful being able to communicate with your most loved pet/soulmate?
4. I read everyday. When and where? LadyFangirl is right here, I read during my commute which is 2 x 60 minutes per day. I used to read before sleeping, yes, yet since I seldom go to bed before midnight or later nowadays, I only fall asleepā¦.
5. Which is the book IĀ“ve read about 20 times because I love the authors way with words? You wouldnĀ“t believe it yet it is Gone with the Wind. With only 19, Margret Mitchell had an amazing way with words. So sad she didnĀ“t live long enough to write more books.
6. In which language are most of the books written which I read? In English. LadyFangirl is right again, the first book I read in English way after my English education in school was Harry Potter. I needed days for the first ten pages, LOL. However, I discovered that it helps me with learning new words and getting a feel for the grammar and also, reading the books in their original languages is always the best to capture the atmosphere of them. Nowadays, I have 90% English books at home and only 10% German ones, mostly medical ones I need for work.
7. Which was the first book I read with my grandparents? The Struwwelpeter. ItĀ“s a book written by a physician to warn children not to do dangerous things. My grandparents were always anxious something would happen to meā¦.. The book LadyFangirl mentioned, I donĀ“t know it, yet the title sounds amazing. :-) I read Max & Moritz with them, too, though! :-) Die kleine Raupe Nimmersatt is a well know children book here yet I only got to know it during the last Wayward Squirrel event in 2018, LOL.
8. Are my cats really able to read? Sure. They are goddesses (and a demi-god :-) ) and they can do all the things they like and also talk via telepathy to one another.
9. Do I prefer a Kindle or real books? I donĀ“t have a Kindle. And I just got my first iPhone gifted and only because my old Nokia is broken, LOL. I love my computer yet I think smartphones tyrannize us, LOL. And I like paper pages. Someday, IĀ“ll buy a Kindle, though. :-) [/quote]

OUTLANDER HA CONTEST
So now you know one of my most loved book series is the Outlander highland saga. :-) I love the characters, the writing style and the atmosphere Diana Gabaldon is creating in each of her books and also her historical accuracy and medical insights. The love story is one thing yet the multiple beautiful places where the stories take place, starting with the gorgeous Scottish Highlands yet also taking us to the Caribbean, France and old and modern America are wonderful to discover and the story in general is gripping and full of twists and turns.

I am just doing a quick post with the books I'm sending then I will come back to do thee HAs, my nurse is on her way and I gotta duck out lol. Not as many books coming now as they are getting pricey! But sending
