you just have to watch she doesn't start doing it too much. it can kill them as it takes so much out of them to do. i seen it on a vet show i watch where one had to have surgery so she wouldn't die due to it. i think it The Vet Life or something.

Oh man! I will definitely keep an eye on her - That's scary! I'm hoping this is just a one time thing though fingers crossed

LOL! That's what happens when you rescue 2 pregnant cats XD They are always outside though and just come in as they please, only 2 stay indoors.

lol, i would love to do that ;) oh my one chicken with the injured leg, i moved her in with the youngest chicks out there so hopefully she can relax a little. can't go out today so she would have been picked on a lot by the other bigs. only her best bud doesn't pick on her.

yes they can be quite the pains, LOL mine insisted on going out but didn't leave the step. he was horrified by what was out there, LOL i hope she does, i don't need to lose a hen before she lays me some butt nuggets. i only bought her this April

i honestly don't know anything about the laying of eggs for them. you may have to look it up or find a local breeder to talk to about it

hopefully shes alright. i didn't know it would take so long.. but i do know they can lay quite a large clutch. keep an eye on her, make sure she doesn't get lethargic over it

I'm going to give her a bath and then give her her food. She's moving around so she can't be too tired.

thats good as long as she seems fine and normal.
