i hear birds screeching everyday, lol. we have a family of blue jays living in the grain silos, lol.

We have NO jays here, actually! At my home town, we have tons!

they are annoying haha.. i thought for a long time they were the hawks we had all summer but they are gone to warmer areas for winter and i see the blue jays all the time.

Maybe hawks will take care of them :D:D

Yeah, it's pretty cool to turn on the lights with your voice. The tech isn't perfect though, so it can be a little frustrating if it misunderstands you. I was surprised how solid it was when I got a cold and my voice sounded very weird, though.

I took a long break as well! But yes, I haven't seen you back since I came back online right before the holidays. I read through yours and Lau's convo... I believe the last I remember about you is your new condo! I remember seeing the pics and it looked great. I'm glad you enjoy it so far! I'm back in school. Not sure if I had told you this or not but I was accepted in to a dietetic internship!! It's been a ton of work but hopefully will be worth it in the end... I get online more now because I'm on my computer doing schoolwork so much in the evening xD so it works out!

Ahhh long week. More money though right? :D I'm glad they don't make the interns work the weekends for whichever dietitian is covering that weekend xD

Thank you! As soon as she got home she rested and now she's up and active again. We all tell her to take it easy lol but i guess those 4 days of being bedridden revitalized her somewhat. xD

Nothing noteworthy to share. I think I'm rapidly heading into forever alone territory, haha. Good thing I like being alone. Honestly, it's kinda nice (for now anyway) just being me and my cat. I've lived with people all my life, until recently. It's nice to have no one else around to judge, being close enough to everything DT, to drop everything and do what I want.

I've only really been around for events, until this week, though I think I missed a few. I know I missed Masquerade and Vesnali last year, so I have some catching up to do in more ways that one!

I seem to vaguely remember something about you being in school for something medical adjacent (was it as a dietician?), but I don't recall hearing about the internship. That's great news though! How are you liking it so far? I imagine the internship is a little different than coursework?

Yeah definitely got a little more money.. so that's good! I have a SHORT day today and I'm going to embrace it!!
