There should be a lovely example for you --> to the right of this text. Specifically, no matter the proportions or size of the image, it's stretched to fill a square ~ 300x300? something like that. I've checked several forums, and it looks the same for everyone that's got an image in their main forumset. I'll see if alignment makes a difference, just a tic.

Oh right, running Chrome on Win10, current version of the browser, and I think up-to-date OS.

EDIT: Looks like the image gets stretched to fit the maximum size. when top-aligned (that's from the forum image preview page)

As an aside, looks like whatever the source is for the HA on that page is a broken link. I'll make a post in the broken images thread.
