Talon is the only pet I train, battle and read to. I would never do all of thart for all of my pets lol. Too many other things I would rather be doing.

That's all there really is to do for now. There probably won't be much else except maybe some more talking with Gunter in a few days, and maybe something with him and Anne finding out that Bubbles is still kind of alive as a zombie in the Underground.

Hey and Hi everyone! Anyone not melting in the heat?!?!?!?

It's pretty hot here, but not really any worse than it usually is during this time of year. So eh, I'm just used to it. ;~;

At least it's been kind of rainy and cloudy the past few days, it's kept temperatures down a little bit.

We've been having unseasonably hot weather the past month or so, much hotter than it usually gets here. And the state is under severe to extreme drought conditions with high fire risk. Sure hope the stupid monsoon starts soon, it was supposed to begin in mid June. My Midnight cat used to sit in the window to watch the trick or treaters on Halloween and people thought we rented him for Halloween. :D

The past few days have been a little bit better at least. Nicer sleeping weather at night.

It has gotten up to 90 inside my apartment :( I am hoping we will get some more rain soon!

Yeah it gets that hot in my house also sometimes, outside a lot lately. But I'm at work all day in an air conditioned office so that helps. No I never dressed my Midnight up in a costume. He didn't need it. He was big with solid black long fur and gold eyes so looked spooky already.

Hopefully one day we will have a kitty like that. I wont try to dress him up no matter how cute I think he would look lol.

"Gunter doesn't seem up for talking right now." Just remembered it said to visit him during the week. Are there certain times he will talk? What is it we're supposed to do, just find out what happened?

There's nothing else to do or read yet, maybe he'll have something to say later this week but IDK for sure. There might be another news post once more lore gets added, but for now that's it.

I'm still hoping we see Bubbles and Anne interact eventually, but it's probably not something that will happen all at once. They've been building this development up since February when Bubbles was the Friendly Thursday challenger.

Melting was last week. We had a heatwave here. It's not so bad now. Still hot but manageable.

Wheat harvest is complete....finally. Too much rain and too many breakdowns (including my own pickup, again). I wish I had more free days so I can work on getting the house back in order, but by the end of next week, I'll have worked another 8 days at the local diner then I'll be off to Colorado to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Chris's great aunt and uncle. Chris and I's anniversary is next week, and I'll be honest that I'm not looking forward to it since he isn't home.

Ren Fest on Subeta could be so much fun. I wish I could go to Ren Fest again this year, but I'm not driving 4 hours one way by myself to go. I think the drama surrounding the Alegarten change stayed in the news comments. I checked it out a few times and read some of the comments, but there was a lot.

I bought all the wearables, plushies, and beanbags from the original shop. I still need the food items from the original shop, but I was already up late 2 nights in a row buying all the other items after work. But then I started inventorying my wardrobe to figure out what items I'll sell once I finally get all tiers of the Filled Wardrobe achievement. The kittens that were on the porch were really cute. One is and orange tabby, the other is grey. I named them Smokey and Marmie, but they don't remember their names since they've been in hiding for over a month and a half. Years ago I had a black cat that I named Jag. She was a sweetheart and was always in my lap or on my shoulder when I was sitting down. Sometimes she perch on my shoulder while I walked.

My ankle is still a bit sore if I stretch it too far or sit on it while sitting on a hard surface, but doesn't bother when I walk. I didn't make it to see the fireworks. My parents and husband told me I should go, but then a spark plug went bad in my pickup (I got them all replaced 3 to 4 months ago). I didn't want to drive 2 hours in a vehicle that isn't running smoothly so I stayed home. I'm sure I'll go next year when Chris is back home. Harvest is complete as of today. Took longer than normal due to rain and numerous breakdowns. My dad and brother start field work for fall planting and also cutting and baling hay. We still have some spring calves that were born late that need their first round of vaccines before they go join the others out on pasture.

I'd rather have less pets and take more care of them than more and take care of them less... but that's just me. To each her own method, as long as you're happy that's what matters.

The heat is higher than normal in Montreal... all of Quebec. It has caused over 70 deaths and the death toll keeps rising :(
