I went through and got some of the Subeautique and Lifelike Doll achievements that I had all of the items for, I just hadn't like "activated" or whatever in the achievement list. And it just worked out to get me to 2k lol. :)

I don't have any of the old Legacy achievements though, I'm not really sure what those were for. I guess they were older achievements on the previous system or something?

I have no idea what most of those achs were for either lol. I am glad the achs are a lot better now. I don't remember getting anything for achs when they first came up with them.

Yeah, I can view them in my list too, I just don't have any of them lol. I'm guessing they're just related to some sort of really really old achievements. It's been a while since they changed to the current system, I kind of barely still remember the old version, and any achievements before that version I probably wasn't around for because I only joined in 2010 and then became actually active in like 2011-2012.

Oh duh lol. Wasn't thinking. Yeah they are really old. Now that I think about it I think they gave us a special avatar to use on the boards (before we had the human avatars) for each of the achs. This was way back when we could even make/upload our own to use. I kinda miss making those. Wow I actually found one of the avatars I made:

But yeah, I kind of like the human avatars we have now. It would be cool if there were some clothing items that could be gifs when worn on the HA, but I don't know how hard that would be to implement.

Yep lmao! I had just discovered a program for my paint shop to help me do that and I did it to everything! I thought I was soooo creative :D The human avatars are deff a lot more fun. I love all of the clothes! Yeah there are a lot of items that would be super cute, but I would be afraid that half the site would explode or something. I know something would go wrong!

New Plot is on the Horizon with our buddy Blake! He is now a battle challenger, if anyone can offer tips on the best weapons against him, I would love you forever. I am not quite strong enough. I can ALMOST beat him, but we are pretty evenly matched.

Well, I'm not so sure it will end up being like a plot, it's mostly just the theme for this year's monthly challengers (the NPCs and the Cash Shop ones). But it is still exciting! We'll probably just get some new lore like with the news posts and the items and descriptions and stuff, but otherwise it's mostly just going to be the battling. :)

What tier is your pet? I'm not as familiar with the lower tier weapons anymore, but what do you have?

After rereading you might be right. My best battle pet is a Tier 3. She has 227 hit points. Blake's stats are all 255. I can almost beat him in two hits, but I have no chance to heal. He gets me in 3 hits.

My weapons are: Spiked Montre Tailguard, Shrine of Apollonia, Magma Charm, Dark Goddess Moon Staff, Shrine of Wokam, Wolfslayer, Possessed Blade of Doom and, Rreign Mace of Malice I also have 3 spells: lava spit, fireball, gate of evil

I found if I go hard with Wolfslayer, Possessed Blade of Doom and fireball, I can get him down to 2/3 to 1/4 of his hit points after 2 hits. The third round he crushes me.

Does your pet have any AP (from books/intel) so it can use scrolls? Because a healing scroll would probably help if you're able to use one.

And it's still cool either way to see Blake making more appearances, he's still one of my faves. Maybe we'll even get to see Elwood again too lol. We'll see what happens ~

she does! Why didn't I think of using a healing scroll, lol. Thanks for the tip. I also am going to up her hit points in training today.

ETA: I also didn't realize she has so much unspent EXP. I just upped all my stats by 10

Thanks for the info. I didn't realize he was an opponent headdesk I was hoping for some kind of plot too! Do you have a Phoenix Quill? I really like mine. It has saved my pet's rear quite a few times lol. Congrats on the stat boosts :D

I know lol, we were speculating a bit in the battle chat of whether Blake is going to bring some friends along and they'll be involved with the monthly challengers too, or if it's just going to be 12 months of Blake in different silly costumes lol. Either way, this year's theme seems like it will be pretty fun!

It would be great to see what character he comes up with for all the different worlds lol. Farmer Blake is hilarious! My inventory is full of chickens now lol. It will also be nice to get a great background for each of the worlds!

yay for upping stats! I need to do my battle quests more frequently. I'm excited about Blake! Maybe Delphi Blake will be in a speedo. LOL! Friends would be fun, too. Ooh, I'd love a background from each of the worlds!

I can't help much with suggestions since Blake seems pretty weak and I'm guessing almost all my pets can beat him. It's just a matter of taking the time to get it done. Good luck to the rest of you.

Not sure about a plot, if that would be a good idea right now with the site still not working correctly (alerts missing etc), the free shop still needs to open and we still don't have snowballs which should have started over a month ago. Seems like bad timing for something complicated like a plot when we're still waiting for other stuff to start.

- have you gotten your desired wins against Farmer Blake yet? At the lower tiers, if you have enough AP, scrolls can make an enormous difference. Either a good healing scroll, or a bomb scroll can do the job. If those are not options for you and you just want the loot drops for Blake, you could also consider using potions or throwing vials to add just enough offense to kill him before he kills you. Or you could borrow a scroll - since they don't have any mods, they can be easy to lend.

As said, a Phoenix Quill can be a huge help. Once you get to Tier 4, my favorite undervalued weapon is which has some attack, heals for 25 percent, has a medium chance to freeze and even a low chance to steal, all for about 71,000 sP. :-) If you have enough AP, funds are not a problem, and you plan to do a lot of battling with this and/or other pets, an would probably have the most impact, it's one of the main healing scrolls - still used by the highest tier pets and has some attack/defense as well. It is an achievement prize for getting ten wins against Crithbolcan but is useful long before you can win one for yourself (which is often true of expensive battle weapons/scrolls).
