I played around with the design and came up with this. The minion and spotlight information will be tabs that raise above her name, and her pet image will drop down beneath it. Her treasure will drop down beneath the content box on the right. Please let me know what you think and if you'd like anything changed! :')

Would you want the writing to show up in the same content box with links to change it, like most of my examples? Or would you want two separate content boxes? You requested column, which would be more likethis design, right? I'm only asking because if you wanted links for writing, then it would have to be in a scrolling div content box. Though I could put one of those within a column, if that's what you meant.
