I went grocery shopping and since the roofers didn't show today (it was a tentative apt) I got my eye apt today. I need driving glasses and close work/computer/reading. I also have an astigmatism-which I was pretty darn sure I had. I got 2 pairs of glasses. One will be for the close up work/reading and one will be the driving/distance pair. I plopped on the anti-reflective add on, and anti scratch on both pairs. On the driving one I made them transitions because I figured it'd be better than swapping out for sunglasses. The rx for distance is very low so this was the best way to go for now. And the fix for the astigmatism and the anti-reflective will totally help with night driving. It'll take getting used to surely lol. If my eyes need more complex rx, then later I will consider going to bifocals but for now it didn't make since. All told though it was only $300 for both pairs.

Welcome to the eye-glass club. :D That is not a bad price for two pairs at all. I paid more for that for the one pair I got. lol Then again, I needed special glasses. :) Will help you strain your eyes less and hopefully give your head a break too. :)

hehe that sounds like when I've had a "we have a package for you" card put through the door - they never tell you even which country it's from, until you get there to collect it! ;)

All I got was a code to give the people at the post office to pick it up.. so yup. Its a bit of a mystery. ;)

I'm so tired. Been busy today. Since I'll be wearing both pairs I thought I should go ahead and make a bed caddy that can hold the main pair over night, along with my journal, a book, and my phone charging. We went to both hobby lobby and Joanns. Then I made the caddy. All this on only two hours of sleep since my mind just wouldn't shut off over the glasses. lol. this is Asami, my new baby betta

I like the snowy outfit today, that top / coffee cup works perfectly with his cold-looking face :D 😮 That was quick on getting the bed caddy made!! And the little betta looks really sweet :D How big do they get?

But considering how big of a change it'll be I think that's understandable. Bettas are typically about an inch in half wide and 3 inches long. So she has some growing to do.

Oh my goodness, that bed caddy is super cool! Now I am slightly jealous because I need one of those for my bed! LOL I'll have t steal your idea and make one to go over my headboard so I can reach the things I need when I don't want to get up. Right now most of the things are slightly out of reach on a night stand or in a zipper pouch that is really for electronic wires but I am using it on my bed, it just sits there in the hope it never falls/slides off. :P

: honestly my default would always be:

1. take whatever you want, it's your body;
2. do not give any of it to children ever unless medically indicated (there's some types of seizure disorders only treatable with certain strains of CBD-rich marijuana);
3. if you damage anyone or anything while knowingly under the influence of any recreational drug, we WILL throw the book at you;
4. do not force others to partake, meaning that if you are going to smoke anything whatsoever, you will do it indoors with an air purifier on at home without children around. If you don't like that, you can use marijuana edibles or get a nicotine patch. Nobody should be forced to breathe your drugs;
5. do not go to work in an altered state unless the drug you are taking is being taken for medical reasons (and by that I don't mean "I got somebody online to write me a script for $30 but don't actually have anything wrong with me).
