Okay, the armory and scrollery should be showing up correctly for both those with new sCode on and those still on the old sCode :)
Please continue to ping me for broken stuff like that :) thank you so much!

They look great, problem solved! Now I can update my scrolls and keep losing to Chase.

Oh cool, looks like the new sCode is already showing up for me.
I definitely like the pet headshots, it's much more useful now with the name and link! And quotes look a lot better now too, no more huge weird text.
[edit] Discovered a problem with the URL sCode. In this thread particularly, but maybe elsewhere too - Deadlines: Retirement Reminders 2018
URLs that have = in them don't seem to be working properly. For example, the Cash Shop URL that I use in that thread:
https://subeta.net/cashshop.php?act=items
In the URL sCode, I have it entered correctly, but in the thread when I click on the Cash Shop links it redirects to:
https://subeta.net/cashshop.php?act=
Cutting off the part after the =
It's also doing this for the Redeem Gift link under the Newsletter Gifts section, and the Free Shop link (both of these links also have = in them and it's cutting off the last part after that).
@ Laurey Ooh, interesting, thank you. On it :)
[edit] Fix pushed and will be live in the next 10-15 minutes or so.

So we use the sCodes as normal but there's now not as big of a strain on the site and they may do slightly different things now, right? That's what I'm getting from this.
Is it by design that URLs on the forums no longer open in a new tab or is this something wrong on my end?
Nice catch, fixing now.
[edit] Fix pushed, update in progress :)

Exciting updates! :D
I noticed when I click on a url (for example, I have BHH linked on my notepad widget), it now opens in a new tab even though on my preferences I have "Open sCode links in a new window/tab" disabled.
This happens regardless of which page I'm on and I'm using a tablet.
Edit: Just noticed that reported a similar issue and that it's been work on, but currently this is still not working for me! Not sure when you pushed the fix. If it was just now, then please ignore ^^
@ Woven Hmm... I'll see what I can do about that preference.
[edit] It's difficult to make the filter respect the preference, and it's impossible (and always was, afaik) to make it respect the preference on the forums. As a compromise, I could do something like...
[url target=blank]www.subeta.net[/url]
...opens in a new tab, but
www.subeta.net
...opens in the same tab.
So that would at least give you some control over it, if we can't outright pass it that preference somehow. What do you think?

As long as there is some way to make it so i don't end up opening a new tab every time, I'm happy ^^
I mostly checked preferences to see if there was something I could do from my end to make it work like I wanted to before I posted, but if it's done another way, that's fine too!
...I did not even know that was a preference that could be toggled. I probably enabled it when I first joined the site and never looked back.
rubs head So 's issue is... the opposite of mine, am I reading this right? Aaand... you can't... fix her issue because you can't make the code respect that preference on the forums, but the fix you're suggesting is when writing our OWN code, to use the code itself to force links to open in a new tab? (I tend to do this anyway, elsewhere where I use html) Or am I totally wrong?
👍
Yes, you understand me :)
What do you mean by "problem", can you describe what you're encountering? The more descriptive, the better :) Can you provide a screenshot of what you're seeing, perhaps? The spoiler in that post works correctly for me. What do you mean by "disappears completely", like the spoiler just completely disappears? And only if you refresh the page? What's it look like right now?

Also... pet... links... I'm not even sure what is happening
I noticed it in another thread and figured it was just a weirdness with that particular post, but for another example, in this post here... the pet's name in the OP is obvs. supposed to link to that pet but it just seems to redirect to the post? The url has subeta.net/pets/safa tacked onto the end, but I think something has gone wrong there...
