Lily held up her wand when it was her turn and recited the incantation just as she heard Professor Norman say it. She expected the worst, but tried to concentrate on positive thoughts, her time spent with her Mom in her shop, as well as the time she'd spent with her friends here at Hogwarts. Her charm worked perfectly and a large smile spread across her face. Suddenly, she found herself laughing uncontrollably, she laughed so hard all throughout the class her abs hurt for days afterwards.

Fade's face was really beginning to hurt. And he kept having to wipe tears of joy out of his eyes. Really it was a weird experience, but he just felt so enthusiastic about it, the tears only made him laugh harder. The hardest part was subduing the urge he had to hug everyone in sight and tell them what he liked about them. That would just be embarrassing... Thankfully after a while the muscles in his face began to relax and he rubbed his cheeks with his palms to get the feeling back.

Keliora was surprised to find herself surrounded by streamers and confetti, holding pom-poms. She supposed her wand had taken her cheering charm a bit too literally and conjured all the extra "cheer-y" items. :D No matter, she was sure the illusion would disapparate as soon as the charm wore off. Since her form of cheer wasn't noisy, she didn't think she needed the quiet room. Although it could be considered distracting..

Ellie was still in a fit of giggles minutes after leaving charms class and headed back up to the Hufflepuff common room. The effects of the cheering charm had hit her harder than anyone else in the class. The rest of her Hufflepuff classmates began to look at her oddly. Even her own cat looked at her as though she was crazy! Ellie wildly chased her grumpy cat around the common room hoping to gain his affection and cuddles, but the cat merely ran away in fright. "What happened to my owner?!" the cat thought, in horror.

Gwen got ready for the Cheering Charm... she didn't think it would be too bad. blast Stars swirled around her head as a huge grin formed on her face. Everything would have been okay but the grin didn't seem to want to stop growing! Gwen was laughing so hard when she asked the professor for some help.

Outfit Not Found Millie had cast the cheering charm and before she knew it, she couldn't stop laughing. It got to the point when she actually snorted. At the sound of the snort, she started laughing even more causing her to snort more. The more she laughed, the more she snorted, which made her laugh even more. She didn't care if anyone heard her. The back of her head started to hurt and she had tears flowing from her eyes but she didn't care. Deep down, she needed a good old fashion snort laugh

Drew felt like he could have used the cheering charm before the holidays, not after, but since it was an assignment...he waved his wand and spoke the words and suddenly was surrounded by twinkling lights. They reminded him of the Christmas tree lights and he began to grin and giggle. Then the grin grew more and more and he batted at the dancing lights, laughing and twirling around. Before he knew it, he was rolling on the floor, the little lights floating around, and he was in a giggling fit, playing with them like a kitten playing with string. In the back of his mind he was thinking what an idiot he must look, but oh Merlin's beard, he couldn't stop!! One of his giggling but slightly less unaffected classmates helped him to his feet and escorted him, via the professor's directions, to the quiet room.

Drew was glad to see the soft cushions on the floor and flopped down on one with a snicker. the darn little lights seemed to have followed him, but they were starting to fade. Now if he could just stop grinning. His face hurt and he wondered how long it would take for his cheeks to feel normal again.
