I'm always happy to share my knowledge; no need to steal it haha. In this case, while I am familiar with a lot of minerals, I'll admit I refer to mindat.org to help me pick crystals for the daily thread. They feature a pretty picture of a different mineral every day and it's a great resource with tons of info.

Now that I've hopefully distracted you with shiny objects, I shall steal your jar of tadpoles and scurry off with it!
