You've earned the Shinwa Helper achievement!
[tot=grumblewolf]
Took 1 step! You find a Frozen Cookie buried in the snow! Very quickly, you lose track of where you have been, but you decide to carry on. It is not until you stumble back on your own tracks and realize that you have been going in circles that you begin to panic.
You turn in circles, becoming more and more hysterical before you glimpse the sparkle of light in the distance. It must be where you started! You begin the long trudge back, determined to be better prepared before you set out again.

Your Mallarchy:
You Win: 1 Carnival Ticket(s)!
❤️ My Wishlist ❤️
Today was a good day, so far. Right as I opened the door, remains of a dead bird were at my doorstep. Present from my kitty, no doubt. Though it wasn't wrapped or tied with a bow. Wonder where she found this? We live in a submarine. Eventually I will find the answer. Right now it's time to surface! We've found land. Don't forget to put on clean underwear!
Right away, I look to see where we are. Everything looks green and lush, and it is raining.
Gah, I hate being wet. I make sure to put on my raincoat and boots to minimize my misery. Yet, even as I looked around, I realized how beautiful lush foliage looks when wet. Tentatively, I take a first, timid step.
Presently, I hear a noise. Ending my journey before it even started seems unthinkable, though. So i make my way thru the path. Hiking up a mountain really tired out my legs. Suprisingly I almost don't feel any pain - I'm this excited.
"Don't think about that squishy thing you just stepped on!" Nonetheless my eyes, seemingly without my control, wander down.
NO! I see way too many legs. Which end is the head?! Is it dead?!
I find a stick and begin to pick it up, when suddenly it shudders and shakes! Sacrebleu! It is a snake! Examining it, I find it non-venomous and harmless.
Nonetheless, I put it down and quickly get away. Yet, despite my attempts, the snake follows, catching up quickly. I run down the path when i see...
Eleven lords a leaping!
For a second I stand stunned and confused before I increase my distance from the leaping lords. Suddenly I realize I'm hallucinating and they aren't really lords. Someone pinch me; it's an 80-foot rainbow farting unicorn!
No you cannot see this, this is impossible! Energetically, I run off down the road, turning down a dark alleyway. I trip over
I sucked in breath as I forced my legs forward, hoping that if my stealth failed me, my speed might make up for it. The woman didn't hear me for most of my approach, and I couldn't say whether it was because she finally heard me or because I reached out and tapped her bare shoulder blade. As she turned, it was for a moment as if time slowed; I felt a warmth deep within the core of my being, like a spark of energy, a charge, something that I knew I could reach out and touch within myself. And as I did, the Ka'aya saw me, eyes growing wide with surprise beneath all of the piercings and war paint. And as the charge filled me, I felt a tingling sensation that- Someone attacked. No need for thought; I struck in return. My victim collapsed before me. I let the heat of battle seep away. I collected my thoughts. Previously, just trimming the torches; suddenly, battle. A stranger had approached, a stranger with a mask. Well, whoever attacked was dead now. I had no need to worry of them. I turned back to the torch - strange. I do not remember switching places with my assailant. Yet, here I stood, swapped. This torch was fine. I ought to move on to the next. I realized that I carried no supplies. Again, odd. I knew I had previously borne supplies. Perhaps I had dropped them and not thought of it. I left the corpse at my feet. Nearby, a crate held what I required; I dug into it. Trimming of the torches proved expedient at this time. Darkness hurt our eyes, but a reprieve from this small prayer would be necessary for the ritual. If the Death Queen was not bound, her magics would prove problematic. Our shamen would require the light and the fire. It was my honor to participate by trimming the torches. After I acquired the necessary equipment, I proceeded on to the hallway. My work was simple, and allowed for small prayers. The wax burned as it dripped on my fingers, a prayer to Lord Pain. Each sensation of suffering reminded me of the frail life I had. Each reminder, a reminder too of the gratitude I owed for my life no matter how frail. A reminder that in the forge of Lord Pain, I am made stronger.
