Favourite genre: Visual Kei! ( [Hard] Rock / [Symphonic] Metal in general. ~ )

Matenrou Opera has been stuck in my head lately, mainly with Kizuna -full chorus-, WARRIOR, and Senjou no Ame wa Oto mo Naku (PANTHEON -PART 2- is such a great album~~~). D's Orokashii Ryuu no Yume (album) and defspiral's TO THE GALAXY (album; PULSE really gets me - we need more music with prominent bass parts!!) have kept me coming back as well. ❤️

I haven't really just discovered any bands / artists (I can't afford to either, ha-ha~), but I did [relatively] recently re-discover coldrain, and have been enjoying their newest album FATELESS. (: (Also came across llll -Ligro- the other day [with the news of their picking up activities after a four-year hiatus] & enjoyed their newest song/PV. Even though I don't plan to be actively following them I will be looking forward to seeing what else they release. If they decide to drop an album I might be interested as well. (: )

Favourite bands in general are D, Matenrou Opera, and lynch., as they all inspire me and help fuel different parts of my artistic (& personal) evolution (also, let's face it - their music is just amazing ❤️). Others include defspiral, DELUHI, RAZOR (Ryouga is doing so well with his new band!), Awoi, DIAURA (they just dropped VERSUS less than a month ago, which I think is their best album to date!), D=OUT, exist†trace, NOCTURNAL BLOODLUST, THE BLACK SWAN (so sad that they're disbanding ): ), Rides In ReVellion, SID, Far East Dizain, and the GazettE (haters gonna hate)... I could keep going, but I think I'm just going to stop myself there;;;

A couple of other worthy mentions are VEXENT & VRZEL, both of which dropped their first full albums this year. I really enjoy them both, and am looking forward to keeping an eye on their releases. ~ Oh, and DARRELL (DEATHGAZE's Ai's new band) looks interesting as well! I'm looking forward to picking up their newest single (QUINN) when I get the chance! ~

Thank you for giving me a place to rant about the bands I love ❤️ Music is one of my top interests + probably the brightest highlight in my life, but I don't really know anyone who listens to the same things I do / who cares in general, so when someone does ask... Well, it's like opening the floodgates. :'D

My most-listened genres are alt rock, industrial and punk rock. ^_^ Garbage, Placebo, Innerpartysystem, Kill Hannah, Sum 41, Oomph, MSI, Celldweller, Blue Stahli, Scandroid, The Used, Seether, Shinedown, Mind.In.A.Box, etc.

All I hear recently are Christmas songs every where I go. Some are stuck in my head but I really don't mind :)

Anything that could be classified as "rock", I guess. I started with Punk, added Grunge and Metal to that a few years later .... and now I'm already happy when they play an 80s rock song in the supermarket. Not into the radio stuff that's been played everywhere. I'm most stuck on screamo/emo & black metal (especially dsbm) though, I love how it helps me to deal with emotions.

I'm what my mom calls a 'music mutt' There is something in just about every genre I enjoy! recently though, I've been getting into english vocaloid songs, and recently I've been having Gifted and Copycat (both sung by Gumi) on repeat.

Rock/metal, Rock en Español , and recently dance/DNB. I'm not sure who is my favorite overall. For my latter interests, Tiësto is where I began. More recent is Phibes.

Español... Molotov, Café Tacvba, Caifanes, Enrique Bunbury. I tend to have one or two of these, the only radio station that plays this rarely mentions names.

I guess anything experimental enough that is either 1) distracts from the lyrics/meaning of the song or 2) repeatedly incorporates sounds and rhythms I don't like. "Experimental" is more tolerable if it's a gloomy/melancholy song, which Polysics most definitely is not xD

I have a couple custom stations on Pandora that I've tailored to different moods or needs. I have hair metal, industrial metal, goth, trip hop, 90's pop, and instrumental adventure music. I've had Da Dip stuck in my head for the second day.

Too Close to Touch is so great. And skyhaven is interesting. they're different than the other bands we've discussed, but they're great.

Modest Mouse, especially Little Motel. I had bought tickets to one of their recent concerts, but it got cancelled because Irma was a fucking douche.

I've been listening to a lot of Roy Orbison recently.

I've been hearing The Spongebob Musicial non stop for days now it's my new obsession but legit a day or two before that it was Coco all the way <3

Although I enjoy a variety of music, I do have a soft spot for The Piano Guys :)
