Music was my first love and it would be my last..... 70s 80s music for ever!

My music taste can be best described as "terrible mixed with not bad". I love Fall Out Boy and have done since I was in high school, but I also love Disney songs, Queen, Punk Pop type stuff, Madness, Pentatonix, musical soundtracks and so much more!

my all time favorite band is (big surprise) my chemical romance, but i'll always have a soft spot for owl city's old discography from before 2011-ish, since it's what i actually grew up listening to! as for genres i love rock and 80s pop/new wave.

Recently I have been listening to a lot of Lofi beats, it's just so calming and doesn't require a whole lot of attention :O

80's and 90's music are the best, man! I also really like k-music [i listen to kpop and korean rap], Gackt [favorite singer? maybe. but just the rock songs] ... jazz music.. I also listen to Chinese music [pop mostly]...

I recently discovered Zolita and her song Holy is amazing! I also listen to Era Istrefi - Many per money and Njo si ti are my favorite songs of hers.

I like 90's alternative and some 90's pop/rap. I also like today and 90's country music. Some 80's. Currently I'm listening to Imagine Dragon's station on prime :)

Mostly listening to Niyaz, Vas and in general Azam Ali currently. Loving her voice so much.

I’ve been listening to so many musical soundtracks recently - dear Evan Hansen, Dogfight, Avenue Q, Natasha Pierre and the great comet of 1812, Heathers, Hamilton and so many more... It’s a problem

My music library says my favorite genre is pop music. In that case, I definitely lean more heavily towards pop rock and soulful ballads than electropop.

However, I feel like I don't really have a favorite genre, just a favored emotion impact from my music. Most of the time when I am listening to music I am working on one of my stories which focus on love found and love lost. I'd say 90% of what I listen to focus on love in the lyrics, another 3% is moving instrumentals, and the final 7% is music specifically to help me through a bad day - mostly it's upbeat or the lyrics are motivational but I do have a fair amount of metal hanging out in my library from 10+ years ago when I was in a different emotional state and occasionally I'll indulge. LOL

The songs I have listened to the most this month are Bad Things by Machine Gun Kelly feat. Camila Cabello, Gangsta by Kehlani (from the Suicide Squad soundtrack), and Bad Things by MAX feat. Lil Uzi Vert ... I discovered Home by Machine Gun Kelly, X Ambassadors and Bebe Rexha (from the Bright soundtrack) earlier this week, and that been getting a lot of replays as well. ---My characters are feeling possessive and are being a little aggressive about it.

Last month I had Stay with Me by Sam Smith and Burning House by Cam on repeat basically. ---My character were feeling forlorn.

Of course, my characters = me so... Yeah. :)

I love musicals. My wish is to see the Lion King in New York. But I don't think that dream will come true.

My all-time favorite bands are Queen and Bon Jovi, but I listen to a bit of all genres, really. The 70's and 80's are my favorite decades. Oddly, though, the song stuck in my head right now is Winter Wonderland/Here Comes Santa Claus with Snoop Dogg and Amna Kendrick.

Basically all I want to do right now is listen to Ariana Grande's christmas music :x

My favourite genre is rock, and punk! But I do really love 80's music too :) My favourite band is Trapt without a doubt, even seen them live <3 I really like 'Years and Years', and 'The 1975' too. I recently discovered The Aces, I absolutely love their song Physical :) I really can't get Pink's 'Beautiful Trauma' out of my head at the moment haha

Oh I love this thread! I love music! My favorite band of all time is Poets of the Fall. As a matter of fact, I just traveled from USA to Europe to see them perform live for about the 6th or 7th time, that is how good they are! They are an Indie rock band, they call themselves Cinematic Rock. I always introduce people to them with their biggest hit to date, Carnival of Rust, and that's usually all it takes, hook, line and sinker. See/hear what I mean

If you like video games and have played Alan Wake or Max Payne 2, they are also featured in those games. In Alan Wake, they are the in game band, Old Gods of Asgard and have several songs under that moniker. If you have played Remedy's Quantum Break, they were supposed to have a song featured in that game as well, but time was an issue or something and it didn't make it! This is the song that was written for that game, they released it on their latest album: The Labyrinth
