Welcome to this week's updates! For those of you that haven't kept up with these and need a refresher, and I post a list every Thursday of things we've done over the week (or that particular Thursday). These things are generally not big enough to deserve their own news post, but are still cool to know about. SOMETIMES WE DO SNEAK PEAKS or talk about larger projects we're working on!

HAPPY HANNUKAH (for those that celebrate)! I've eaten my weight in latkes and donuts which means I'm clearly doing the holiday right.

things that are done:

• Vanya: I've updated his page that when you're on a quest, you'll have his HA on the side rather than the large image of him in his workshop. I also made sure to make it very obvious what instructions you're completing, since he sometimes asks you to bring him other instructions as part of his quest. :x

I’ve been spending a lot of time going around the site and monitoring how it’s been doing after the recent lag/blank pages we were getting over the weekend that really was noticeable Tuesday. was able to suss out an issue with a slow query dealing with the Luminaire Trees, which helped that issue by adding cacheing to it! Thank you everyone that messaged us via Twitter/Facebook that they were having issues and in general just being patient! We tried to keep the status page updated (along with answering everyone on social media etc).

Other things I’ve been working on this week are unfortunately things I can’t show you yet! Just preparing for the rad challengers for next year, making sure quests will work properly come new years (along with getting out some luminaire items soon ;)), melody things, and more. Basically a lot of meetings with people to keep busting out cool lore and interesting stuff.

(I really hope you guys have been enjoying the land based Melody items this year!)

[edit] Hi everyone it is here. I've actually been taking most of my time off, as I've been battling a bad cold all week. Tis the season. Make sure you bundle up, drink enough fluids, always wash your hands etc... I'll be back to work as soon as I feel better, hopefully sooner rather than later! But for now it's back to being a bed bug for me. /snuggles my new electric blanket :D
