Unfortunately for Marcia, her penchant for sweets has landed her in the Hospital Wing today, although she doesn't particularly mind the break from class. Someone had slipped her a particularly potent Nosebleed Nougat during the lunchbreak, and ever since, the flood has been nonstop. She had stuffed up her nose with tissues and gone on with life, but one of her professors recommended she go see a nurse when the bleeding didn't stop within the expected time frame. Luckily, none of it got on her clothes before she was able to change into the hospital gown. The bleeding doesn't bother her much, but if even a smidge had gotten onto her new coat, someone else might've had a bloody nose for a different reason...

After being bitten by a Pikemint during herbology class, Lysandra lived through the worst four minutes of her short life. She started to see things blurry and got a mighty nausea, then flowers began to grow on her body, first on her head, then all over it. Afterwards, halluzinations and skin coloring kicked in and then Lys lost control over her speaking in minute four. And that the very day she wanted to hear the famous guest speaker for Care of Magical Creatures!

Professor Mathers already worked on the Retura Elixir down in the dungeons to remove the Gnepping sickness yet Lysandra feared it would take longer than expected and tried to sneak away from her room down to the classrooms. The headmistress caught her and was forced to cast a rat-stay-put-spell onto her to held Lys captive in her dorm room. Lysandra already tried to bath with the rodents to scare them away yet they happily swam along without loosing grasp on the hobble spell. Having no option but to resign to her fate, reading some interesting books at her desktop seemed to be a good alternative.

This poor unfortunate (and rather clumsy) student had an unfortunate fall into the inky depths of the Black Lake. Luckily Hagrid was passing by and was able to fish her out. And, much to the amusement of the small crowd that had gathered, a small squidling had attached itself to her head. Nobody had even known the giant squid was pregnant.

Despite Madam Pomfrey's best efforts the small green creature seemed rather determined to stay put and the student was told to get as much rest as possible while the teachers work to find a solution. The poor girl practically moved into the library to find an answer herself. So far the only thing close to a solution was in dusty tome entitled 'Strange creatures & how to make them shoo" which suggested that she simply 'Smyle nice and wide and aske nicely that it just lett go and go back wheyr it is wanted'.
