Description: She has a 8 branch star on her forehead. Colors are mostly White with gold and silver ‘stars’ on her body and jewels. Long and flowy fur and a fluffy tail that turns to star dust. Her eyes are purple (like in the second ref). She has a delicate body and features(long legs etc.) with flowy fur and long feathery wings. Feel free to add details in the areas we don't see on the first ref (so like... star markings, silver/gold long star necklace maybe like this but with stars hanging)

Line Preference: Vector Additional Information: Michibiki means ‘lead the way’. She is a calm and serene being.

OMG, Grey did an amazing job making buttons for Ausar, Infini, and Dimensions, and now I get to make an overlay of one of Grey's buttons! :D

The ribbons and jewels are removable, and more can be added if you want. I'm a bit concerned that it'll get too busy at 200x200px though since there's already cloud-fluff-tail and wings going on too.

Hahaha, my version of Illustrator is so old that I can't upgrade to Mohave (or High Sierra for that matter) because it'll break due to the file system switch from HFS+ to APFS. Which is a shame since APFS is supposed to be really nice and speedy. Years ago I talked to a guy who was running business critical programs written in fortran 30 or 40 years ago in a crazy old Solaris VM. I'm going to be like him one day, running Illustrator CS5 in a Snow Leopard VM D:

Grey did such a great job fitting your complex designs into a small box (I'm really surprised Infini fitted in a 100x100 square ahaha), and of course you're also doing an amazing job taking one of their button and making it come to life!

She looks amazing. One small change, would it be possible for her expression to be more neutral?

(Fun fact, she was supposed to be a cat, but I forgot to mention it, and you drew her as a fox and I just.... Really love that. So now she's gonna be a fox)

Is there any specific reasons you need to keep using the older file system? Cause like, you could upgrade, start making your newer artwork on the new system/new illustrator and keep your old system (or make a VM, tho VM tend to not like tablets much in my experience) to edit your older files?

My old job refused to upgrade their inventory/ordering system, so they were running a dos VM to enter all orders. They had this 30 years old thermal printer that they used to print invoices since it's the only thing the system supported. Everytime it broke (which was often) they had to get someone to come fix it for premium fees since there's no way theyr could find another one....

a bit more neutral

Generally, I find XaaS to be OK or even good for businesses but terrible or a strait up risk for individuals. So Adobe CC is unacceptable on principal and I don't have the money to get whatever standalone full version is current. I'm not getting enough from commissions to cover rentalware even if I wanted to go that route.

For sure the subscription based model of cc is not friendly for non-business users. It's expensive. (They dont offer the standalone software anymore either) I get a full cc subscription because of my job, but I could never afford to pay for it on my own (I'll admit I had cc before and didn't actually pay )

I'd need to really work that ugly cat to make it reach its full potential. Like the nose could be a bit farther up its face and it could have goopy tear ducts to properly capture that persian/Riff Raf look. (and I mean, you know I can't draw a strait line if my life depended on it, you sure you don't want vector lines?)

I had an idea. I can make the persian her minion. So we'll have this glorious fox, with this lil drooly persian. (For real it doesn't have to be properly finished at all since this is a silly lil thing)

colors are done. I added a bit of purple to her legs and the base of her tail sort of like what's in Grey's button to add a bit of interest. It can change to any color because it's a gradient map or go away altogether.

(I always have weird ideas at the worst time. How long would it be to make a super dark/black version, with only the stardust, eyes, and ribbons visible? She is usually a hidden entities who 'leads the way' to lost souls in space. She rarely shows her full self, only appearing as like.... Stardust and glowing stars/eyes. So the idea would be to has an hover effect on the profile. I know you once said changing colors was kinda quick? Ahhhh)

past It’s all gradient maps applied to a greyscale base, so not long if I’m not painting new masks or adding textures. I can’t work on it until tomorrow though.

Pings seem to usually work if I break any previous ones and add a new one, but Subeta forums are mysterious. I also try to wait a day or so before bugging/commenting anyone in case they’re in the middle of an emergency.

Is this what you had in mind? I can make her darker and remove the purple and silverish markings too. The highlight on her fur doesn't have to be purple either if you'd rather it be a more neutral color.

It's going to be really awkward the day my finally tablet dies. It's really weird how my 20 year old hobby grade tablet seems like it just needs drivers and it's good to go, but my 10 year old professional grade one is on its last legs because of design/manufacturing flaws.

These are mostly the same colors used on the other version, with a few tweaks made to account for the differences in lighting. So they should match up fairly well. Let me know what you think.
