I love those pictures. I'm always in the mood for MORE kitty pics ;P I don't have many pics of my current kitty in outfits but here's a couple of my dearly departed
you can get in on kitty pics too if you want
kitty outfits
Believe it or not he really loved this, it made him feel 'special'
As you can see he did NOT love this lol
Both of my cats would kill me if I tried to put them in an outfit! My grandparents did have a cat when I was little who would cooperate with stuff like that though.

Thank you guys. :x I really didn't at all mean to bring anyone down with my thing here. D: I really hope I didn't. :x
My birthday shenanigans as promised to individuals
I had a blast although my feet very much regretting heels for 6 hours. :x A lot of people were seriously impressed because they hadn't seen something unique like that before at the convention in question and I was honestly astounded by the amount of respect that was shown after hearing all the horror stories about people being grabbed at cons. :x
But yeah. That was my Burlesque Deadpool. ^_^

you didn't bring me down. One of my grandmothers died this summer, the other one a few years ago. I can empathize with your loss. I wanted to give you a cyber hug.

Your spoiler warnings made me think of the Haunted Forest scene from the Wizard of Oz, I was waiting for an "I'd turn back if I were you" spoiler lol Thank you for the spoiler but Jon Snow being a Targaryen is sort of hard for me to swallow...not necessarily 'Snow's not BSC' Maester Aemon certainly wasn't, Danerys isn't nearly as cray as Viserys the unmourned. Who raised him? Ned? Nuh-uh, Ned disliked the way that Rhaegar's children were killed but he understood that they were a threat to Robert or his heirs as long as they lived
LOL Both my roommate and I are Huge Queen fans, he'd be a really good Therapy animal, he's friendly as hell and loves to be cuddled he is very definitely a keeper. Actually all three are, but the marmalade is having a tough time adjusting...I think both her and her sister are, but her sister (Lolli) a smokey tabby will play with and groom Mouchie. LOL I think he's over excited if the Marmalade (Bea) comes by and wants to be buddies right away so instead of letting her engage him he wants to play
Formerly known as Habeebi
spoiler for other Got fans
I don't know what to tell you - Jon being a Targaryen and Ned agreeing to keep the boy safe was part of a Three Eyed Raven vision, of the past....
For me, it feels like Christmas on Christmas Eve. I make a big casserole and either my mother or the in laws come over. We eat delicious food and wrap the kids gifts while a Christmas movie is on. Then in the morning we're up early with the small humans. Bacon sandwiches and tea all round and then we rip into the presents. While the kids are playing with whatever they got us grown ups go into the kitchen and start dinner prep. Father in law sits in the corner and peels all the veg while mother in law preps the yorkshire puddings and I handle the turkey. It's hectic and messy and loud and I love it ❤
Putting up a tree and putting out the decorations with my family makes it feel like Christmas. c: Then there's a gradual decline into lying around drowsily in the heat (it's been between 30-40+ degrees lately) and playing games (wii games or board games if not pc games) together. We gradually amp up the more Christmas-y food over the few days before Christmas, then have a great lunch and tail off with snacks throughout the day. All our family is overseas so we just have a quiet Christmas in. c:
- You look fabulous!!
Oh my goodness! Your kitties are A-DORABLE! <3 My Siamese is just a kitten, but he flips out if I even try to put a collar on him. I only try to put one on when we're leaving the house! I opted to have him micro-chipped when he is neutered though so hopefully that will eliminate the need for a collar! My tuxedo girl is SO patient. I dress her up every year for Halloween. She's not necessarily a fan, but she knows afterwards she is showered with treats so she obliges. XD
Selene dressed up
Selene's first Halloween with me! (October 2009)
Selene's Halloween with me this year! (2017)
Halloween 2016! <3
I was wondering if it was a Queen reference, but you never know. XD That is awesome of you to foster those kitties. They are lucky to have you! When I get my own place, (I rent) I would love to foster. Have you found anything that helps to keep him away from the other kitties? I have tried everything it seems, but he still attacks my tuxedo girl. :(
Response to "What makes it feel like the Holiday Season to you?"
I moved here (Maine) in 2004. I did not want to come here, but I had nowhere else to go and my mom lived here. I grew up in New York where we were THE family that did all the big family gatherings. Thanksgiving was always at our house and we did a big Christmas dinner on Christmas eve every year. I struggled with it just being the few of us for Christmas for a while. Christmas has always been my favorite time of year though. Even at 36, I still catch those glimmers of excitement that I remember having as a child. It always starts with the first real snow of the season. Ours happened to be in November. Then when the local station starts playing Christmas music 24/7. Then when I have my Christmas tree up and all of my Christmas cards displayed, I really feel the excitement. The past 2 years I have spent Christmas day with my son's family. His father and I have been split up for 7 years, but his family is like my family. I adore them and it has been so long since I have been surrounded by a big family Christmas that I know it was exactly what I was missing. <3
I wish I had found this earlier - I love the spirit of this event! As someone who has been around for ages but isn't super social, I don't have any friends on site. I used to, but they've all moved on. You hit the nail on the head when you said Lumi is a lonely season without people to share it with - this year I finally decided to interact on the forums and get involved in secret santa events, gifting boards, and giveaways like this one. It's making a huge difference! C:
Answer: Christmas is family to me. Every detail of what I love and cherish about the holiday breaks down to togetherness. The overall spirit of wonder and joy that permeates everything is the best part of the year; it makes me feel so renewed in my hopes for the future. Growing up my family would decorate for Christmas as soon as Thanksgiving ended. For the entirety of December I would wake up to my mother playing Christmas music downstairs. The whole season was music and movies and shopping and fun. I remember how my mom kept every decoration my sister and I ever made in school growing up and would put them all over the house. We had a small paper village and a nativity set that my sister and I would play with. I always made baby Jesus ride on the donkey and often their adventure involved "climbing" the Christmas tree. Our Church always had a live nativity the week before that we were a part of - they would have farm animals come and all us kids would dress up and act out Christmas as our Pastor narrated. Then, on Christmas Eve we would be a part of the service where we would do another small play of the Christmas story, light the wreath, sing, and then enjoy some delicious cake. On Christmas day we would run downstairs and my father would make us Christmas brunch. Then we would open presents together. For the longest time we would video each year so we could watch the memories as we got older. My Dad still has most of them on DVD now; watching them is both amusing and embarrassing. My sister and I usually end up in tears from laughing at ourselves. After presents we would play games, then put on a movie which my mom would inevitably nap during. Now that I'm older, and live away from home, and am married Christmas is a little more hectic and even more about family. We try our best to get some time off so we can pack up the critters and drive back to our hometown. I try to make it for Christmas eve service. Christmas day we do coffee and presents with my in-laws, then brunch, presents, and games with my family. Dinner we go to the big family get together at my husbands meemaws house, visit my family on the way back after, then end the night with a movie at my in laws. If I can stay the extra day I visit my best friend on the 26th and then pack back up and head back home. It's a whirlwind, but I'd take it over not being with my family. Last year was the only year I've ever been apart from them on Christmas and it was horrible, I'm so thankful that this year I get to go home and take part in all the memory making again. <3
So I guess to me there are so many little things that make Christmas feel like Christmas - the feeling on wonder and goodness that I see all around during the season, going to church on Christmas Eve, seeing the decades of memories decorating my family home, brunch and games and movies and presents like the years and years before, and family. More than anything family. It's truly 100% Christmas for me when I'm finally back home.
Wow she really is patient and sooo cute too.
what really makes it feel like the holidays to me is a decorated, lit tree, holiday music, and being super warm and cozy when it's cold outside. i always like to lay down fuzzy blankets before we unwrap presents. oh, and good food. my family never celebrates with anyone else but the three of us, but my mom always makes a good dinner, supplemented with delicious clam chowder
-screams at the cutness of your kitty pictures- thats about all you are gonna get from me at the moment. Super sick and tired DX drinking hot totis and day quill loke its going out of style
I hope you feel better soon. hands you a mug of hot tea and honey
it starts feeling like the holidays to me usually once the semester ends especially since this semester i had so much work to do. i haven't even watched any christmas movies yet except like the end of deck the halls earlier today. but it started feeling like christmas when i started wrapping presents yesterday and put them under the tree. my family celebrates christmas on the 24th (so later today) and it always feels christmasy because of the food and because we sing songs during the meal haha and then we open presents later on that day.
Been drinking lots of that!!
Thabks for thw ornament :) glad its starting to feel like christmas!
Thank you so much!^_^ it was a lot of fun but boy did my feet hate me. XD
