I completely forgot to ask: How was that Holiday party? Are you feeling any better? Had a chance to rest and relax (I hope)?

- The little kitty had to spend the day at the vet's office. They couldn't get a urine sample from her during her visit, so they had to pump her full of fluids for a few hours. She's now on two different medications and locked in the bathroom. Poor kitty :(

- My husband and I just binge-watched GoT at the end of the summer. I really should read the books. I wish there was more about some of the more magical and mysterious elements, too!

- Those curtains are so helpful when migraines are present. I think the worst migraine I ever had resulted in me sleeping for 18 hours straight :o I hope your dad heals up soon. hugs

To me it really did seem like there should have been more about the mythical elements - How many seasons did we go between seeing the White Walkers? or like Bram Stark going up to that tree of the Three Eyed Raven and those magical lady things - I would have loved a lot more on that; like I really shouldn't be saying Magical Lady Things lol If I remember correctly they brought Bram up to that tree and then didn't even touch that story line for like a WHOLE season - I don't really care who's fighting who to sit on some throne when there's all that magical/mythical stuff going on way up North lol

- Exactly! And those girls (?) were the ones who created the White Walkers, from what I gathered. I really wish that they had explored that a lot more and Bram's storyline.

It’s the season, indeed. I think for the past weeks there has been at least one cheesy Christmas movie a day on tv here. I don’t always have the time for it, but sometimes I record a few for a “snowy” day. I’m curious to see what will be on tv at Christmas Eve, but I’m pretty sure Home Alone will be one of them.

Oooh, I think you’re speaking of a different game that I did not know of yet! I heard about “Wizards unite” (again, had to Google it). That is the Niantic game. Hogwarts Mystery seems something different and I did not know it yet. Seems awesome though, if I read about it real quick! I’m not much of a gamer but I think I’ll check it out when it releases :) Thanks for the heads up! (again, I feel like a bad fan not knowing about so many things, haha)

- We're on our third weekend of vet visits. We're hoping by the end of December that the stones have dissolved significantly enough so that she doesn't need to have surgery. I don't know what we'll do at that point with her diet though. I'm worried that my cat is going to be locked in the bathroom for the rest of her life :/

She's such a love though. Even though he drives her batty, she doesn't like when he's upset. We brought him home on October 4th. He needs to be neutered next month so hopefully that will calm things down a bit!
At least the kitties that you inherited are close in age to your kitty. I know that cats are very territorial though so I hope they will get along soon! Has there been any progress?

LOL! He has to live up to his name. XD When I was young I had a calendar with a cat a day. One of the kittens names was Lucifer and I thought it was a cute name. Little did I know. XD My Spooky sounds a little like your Lucifer. Can be a love, but can be a monster. When he is super crazy, his pupils almost block out all of the blue of his eyes. That's how I know he is going to go nuts. :D

How does Pickles like Lucifer (love the name by the way!) I know when cats get older they get very thin. My son's grandparents have a kitty around the same age and he is SO thin. It makes me sad, but he eats a lot! I've known him for the past 12 years though so I remember him in his younger days. You can try feeding him kitten food! It has more fat and maybe it will help Pickles gain a little weight! Do you have pictures of your loves?

oh yes, it's so nice! Right now I'm in LA and we're planning on going to Santa Monica Beach, the Walk of Fame, and Hollywood sign.

Amen! Maybe they're trying to cater it to the Soaps crowd to get their ratings higher, but there was a lot of soap opera nonsense in the books, too...in addition to ass-kicking zombies and dragons (not nearly enough of the latter but it definitely made you hungry for more. Brandon (the three-eyed crow) has me vaguely curious about who he is but seriously, the kid is almost killed in the sack of winterfell, almost freezes to death and nearly killed by wights at your back door you can do a bit more than talk in riddles

I bet you that your big girl will step up as Mama when he gets neutered as you said, she's already distressed if he's unhappy and I don't think its "Can't you shut this kid up, Mom!"

I haven't heard her growl or hiss at him in awhile, but if he's in my roommate's bedroom, she'll be out in the front, the other cat will play-fight with him and if he get's too rough Lolli can definitely put her new brother in check

I may have not be a huge fan of the soap-y stuff but it sure is a HUGE for HBO - I don't know what they'll do once it's gone, although I think they're planning a few spin offs lol
