I think most Ethnic restaurants in the SW are overly Americanized, its like that episode of Seinfeld with Babu, he opened a restaurant but rather than middle eastern food it was like rigatoni and meatballs lol we had a Greek place almost around the corner, the owner immigrated stateside in his 20's but it was gringoized, the gyro was all beef because "Americans don't like lamb" Admittedly that's true in like 8/10 cases but it always reminds me of growing up and going on picnics. My Dad immigrated from Egypt when he was 10 he had no problem with my Mom making Arabic food at home but a cookout at the park it was burgers or hot dogs (yup, we were a dark-eyed, dark haired, cafe au lait colored all American family)

I think about a year back? I wanna say. Might have been as far back as two years ago but I'm not sure. The user base was salty about it, too xD. I can see why it was changed, I just miss some of the design. Like being able to use/see my HA's hands, or how the fabric from before looked a little more like a kimono. Oh and they were, for the longest time! I was like 'why are the images here so broken' but then they were updated.
