ahh, honestly those authors are my main favorites for weirdness, there's just not that many that can do it well! i think david mitchell's slade house is super good and it reminds me of the fifty year sword, which is danielewski's, a ton. danielewski's also doing a really really long series type thing and i've only read the first book for that but it's pretty cool! the series is called the familiar but tbh i can't recall what the first book is called.

americanized sushi is amazing somehow! and also just the really simple ones - you can't go too wrong with tuna or salmon rolls imo. i really like california rolls too, and ones with shrimp tempura in them are usually good! though they can be kind of bland if there's not something spicy in it too, i just like the texture a lot - my favorite one has crabmeat, cream cheese, and tuna in it along with the tempura, and avocado and jalapenos on top! don't know if i've had alaskan rolls though, what's in those usually?

aw, cutie!! whenever i go to buy my birds' food i always see a few like that, they're adorable ❤️ diamonds in general seem to be really skittish! everyone i know that's had them says that they're generally just afraid of all the things x3 they do have really adorable coos though - mine, especially the male, will talk to me and carry on little conversations ❤️ they coo in patterns, too, which is really cool to me. rainy, the male, coos in fours (two sets of a short note followed by a longer note; the short note is a lower pitch), and misty, the female, coos in threes (all the same length, with the middle note being higher pitched and the first and third note being the same, slightly lower pitch). aww, i love cuddly birds!! the macaw and my tiniest chicken are the cuddlers out of my little flock cx ahhh, what are disco's favorite records? that's adorable ❤️ pompom is so cute, oh my gosh o i love the black skin on silkies, it's so neat looking! i wish jutta had it but i guess she got her dad(s)'s side of the gene pool there, cause she's all pink under those fluffy white feathers x3 she's in one of them, but here's little baby jutta bc her cheek fluff is incredible and she definitely has whatever the chicken version of resting bitch face is, she just perpetually looks mad and i love it cx that's really interesting! i never would have thought that something around the size of a keet could go through toys like that o: but i love the personality that bigger birds have, so that might be a neat thing. plus, some parrotlets have really pretty colors o the green ones like jellybean are super cute, and you don't usually find just straight green keets!

ahh, those are all so pretty! i think neele's name has the prettiest meaning to it though - i love flowers! my animals tend to have names that we just liked the sound of, so they're not as neat in meaning, but the parakeets' names are based on the french words for 'earth' and 'sky'! (terra and ciel)

aha, aw, that's how a lot of people end up with them i think x3 i just like birds, and got ciel and terra kind of on a whim because they were so pretty and i'd wanted keets for a while. you're right - your gerbils do sound a lot like how keets work! they're generally beginner pets because they don't require a lot of complex care, just feed them, clean their cage, and make sure they have water basically, but untamed adults can be a little hard to handle for anyone.

yeah, they're adding weather effects and parts of gen 3 as the month goes on! so that's really cool n_n my parents will probably want to go out and play it this weekend, even though it's so cold here rn x3 ahh, that's really cool! yeah, maybe someday we should plan a meetup ourselves for people in the general area ❤️

there's two halves of texas tbh, one is super great and one is terrible. the great part is the actual geographic area called texas. it's so flippin pretty. the terrible part is 98% of the people that inhabit the geographic area we call texas. they cannot drive in anything under 45 degrees because they're scared it might ice, there are mcdonalds' absolutely everywhere, and some of them think trump is an actual human being and not an overripe yam with a toupee and googly eyes superglued onto it. i also have no idea how endless dead grass is super nice/cool/aesthetically pleasing but it's an accurate portrayal of my inner self about 38% of the time (and the idea of beauty is so vague tbh, but you're right - everything is an aesthetic and like... if you look at it long enough it's somehow pretty) that's so much snow?? like i'm all for people knowing how to deal with that much snow but dear lord i do not want to be one of those people that is required to, i am already an icicle in the winter in texas. it was 35 degrees today and i died a little, like we're not even in the cold months yet texas calm down?? that sounds so nice though, in a 'if i never have to leave my home i will be perfectly happy' kind of way x3 that's so cool o dragons are the neatest conceptual creature thing ever, like i can never get over how neat they are just as a thing that exists (in our imaginations, like thank god they don't actually bc can you imagine the infrastructure problems but oh my gosh i want 16 of them)
