Ooooh Mushishi was lovely! I'm trying to rewatch it with my boyfriend but it's hard to marathon it at 2am, it's such an even pace that you find yourself very tired very quickly. And Ghibli is always a classic! I watched some of Angelic Layer and Trigun, but have never completed either. But Akira definitely is a wild ride hahaha

When I was younger I had two parakeets - they couldn't live in the same cage together one of them was always attacking the other - so they lived in cages next to each other. They next door neighbor best friends and boy oh boy did they love the birds the 'mirror'

I don't read nearly as much as I should but two of my favorites are Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett and (talk about weird fiction) John Dies at the End by 'David Wong' - I found John because of the movie based on it - they're both completely bonkers. I also really loved Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles when I was younger (still do) Queen of the Damned was my favorite and as a weird fiction/cosmic horror fan of course I love H.P. Lovecraft and Algernon Blackwood (although I need to start working on reading more Blackwood)

And Calliopead you're definitely not the only one that doesn't like sushi points to self I've tried, I've really tried but it's just not for me - I've even had dessert sushi and didn't like it and that doesn't even make sense shakes head I don't like the taste and I especially don't like the texture - which if funny because I like just about every other form rice takes.

I have a Animal Crossing game for my old Nintendo DS - which I've spent more time playing then I care to admit - it's kind of my go to when I'm laying in bed and can't sleep but don't want to turn the computer on or read.

I've only seen each of those once, I should really watch them again!! My favorites are Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Castle in the Sky, and Ponyo. But I also love The Cat Returns and Kiki's Delivery Service . So many of them hehehehe

Probably the witch season it was so perfect!! I really liked Roanoke too haven't seen the most recent season. Howls moving castle was my fave for a while but I just love the story in Princess Mononoke. Have you seen Porko Rooso? Its good too! I just watched spirited away the other day!

YESSSSS. Hello fellow Whedonverse fan <3 I just started reading the comic sequels!! Have you read those? I started with Dollhouse but there weren't many, and I'm going to start Buffy tonight actually. I got distracted by another comic called Rat Queens in between :P

No I haven't read the book, I actually found the show before I knew that it was based off a book. I can't wait for the second season.

Coven is also my favorite season! After that, Murder House has a special place in my heart. The newest season is good. It's pretty political, and most of the scariness is because it's based on the politics, but I still thought it was good. I've seen Porko Rosso once as well :) I bought a boxed set with most, if not all, of the Studio Ghibli films and we've been slowly trying to get through them all. I think Grave of Fireflies is next on our list, we started watching it once but it was so sad in the beginning that we stopped because we weren't in the mood for a sad movie that night.

yessss sims! I’ve never played 4, but I’ve played SO MANY HOURS of 1-3 it’s mildly ridiculous. I totally ragequit and stopped playing months ago when I built up this one family from scratch and had the wife as this master Equestrian (petsss)... well one day the horse decides it wants to jump through a flaming hoop. So she obliges it. And catches on fire. And DIES A HORRIBLE BURNING DEATH. I hadn’t saved at all and I refused to start over and refused to allow that death to become canon in my SimLand, so I just quit. I haven’t gone back since! Stupid horse -_-;

Which is your fav Dragon Age game? I started 100% backwards with Inquisition first THEN came back and played Origins and DA2. I still love love love DAI the most, although I’m not gonna lie I’m pretty sure “purple” Hawke is my favorite ever.

The licorice spice is herbal if you ever come across a box of it you should check the ingredients and see if it's something you could drink - if you can it's SUPER good. I can drink citrus teas but honestly I'm just not a fan - I like a less acidic flavor but they sure do smell good ;)

My dad loves sushi. American Horror Story: Coven was definitely my favorite too - sooo good.

Buffy ALL the things! I really wanted to read the comics after the show end but I could never find them (I don't online shop) and I'm just completely rubbish at reading comics in general - it's a point of personal shame ;)

People are always talking about how you should read the book before you see the movie/tv show and I had planned on reading the book before the show was announced so before the show started I actually started the book (I'm over half way through) and I've got to say I really wish I hadn't listened to 'people' Having read most of the book first really took a lot of the fun out because I already knew the answers so I didn't get the chance to try and figure it out myself - I'm never doing that on purpose again LOL I need the second season NOW

I read American Gods, also Anansi Boys which is sort of a sequel to it. I like Gaiman's novels. Really good... I haven't seen the TV version of American Gods yet but I really want to!

Angelic Layer's ending is pretty predictable from the beginning (but fun) - Trigun though it's worth getting to the end, it changes tone a lot...

I love Rose too she was a great true love companion, the only companions I like more are Donna and Jack, after Rose would be Rory.

I have Anansi Boys but I haven't gotten around to it. Every time I start talking about books I realize how many have but haven't read yet or are in the middle of shakes head It's really fun seeing how Bryan Fuller took American Gods book and changed it and yet - so far - stayed true to it. Another of Gaiman's I have actually read (and finished) is Good Omens, it's one of my all time favorite books.

Yeah we haven't been to a concert since that one in 2011, and before that, the last one I'd been to was System of a Down in 2005.

I wish I'd paid more attention to the campaigns. I read through some of them, but then I got tired of not having access to their explore parts for weekly events so I just skipped all the dialogue to just get them done. I really like the PvP for the game, though. It's nice that it's turn-based, but the other player's team is controlled by the AI. Although the AI gets waaaay too many cascades and 4/5 matches, I'd still rather play that than against actual people who will take forever to make a move, or who will get angry at me if I take a bit to decide what to do. :P

LOVE American Gods, but I don't have Starz, so I can't watch the TV show and I'm too cheap to pay for it. I hope it'll show up in a format that I can watch it at some point. (shifty eyes....)

- I think we're in about the same boat. It's too much of a haul and we're too cheap to go to concerts anymore. My friend in NJ/NYC goes to 4-5 a month. A MONTH! I'm so jelly.
