i also love skin care a lot! i'm not always treating myself very well so small things like a daily and nightly routine for skin care helps not only my skin, but also makes me feel happy n___n

i love watching youtubers; started watching people who live in japan bc the culture just appeals to me a lot, now some of them are moving (to china, korea) and it's so interesting to see all the different cultures.

Yeah I've heard amazing things. I don't know why I stopped watching, I was really enjoying myself when I was watching it. I think it was one of those things that you take a break on and then just never get back to it. I plan on starting it again one day!

7 deadly sins was funny bc I had to read Le Morte D'Arthur for class and in it are King Meliodus and Queen Elizabeth and I had to stop reading to giggle for a solid minute, imagining them in the book haha. Oh geez, I'm trying to remember what ones I named lol. Shokugeki no Souma is sort of like a sports anime but with food. It takes place at an elite culinary school where they have "food wars", sort of like a cooking competition, if you've ever seen Iron Chef it's like that. It's a bit fan service-y but the humor makes up for it. And it's equal opportunity fan service. Girls aren't the only ones getting the treatment, so at least there's that haha... Ancient Magus Bride is a beautiful anime about a girl named Chise who was bought by a man with a cow skull for a head, who turns out to be a mage. He tutors her in magic so that she can become a mage too, and he says they're gunna get married. A little strange, but honestly not as strange as I made it sound. It's really lovely, a little sad, a little funny, but I swear to god the "buying" thing is not as creepy as it sounds. Blood Blockade Battlefront is a really well done shonen that's mostly comprised of one-shot episodes about the life of Leo, a boy who was given the All Seeing Eyes of the Gods, and moves to what's essentially Monster New York City. It's a great ride! And they did NYC very well haha. I live nearby and they managed to really understand what life is like there haha

aww ;; some parakeets can be a pain, when they aren't tamed as babies they can be difficult, and older birds are a bit harder. one of mine is still kinda nippy too, but he's not that bad. that's super cute that he'd sit on your shoulders and be sweet though! ahh, is the movie decently true to the book? and yeah, lovecraft is kinda xenophobic sometimes, but i figure that's a product of the time in which he lived, so i just kinda shrug at it. it's there. ah well. not much to do about it!

he's okay! he's good with me and my mom, but with the guys sometimes he's kind of a pain. he's not terrible though, mostly just nips a little hard. i guess he doesn't like other males? x3 since he's an only rooster, the humans are the only other guys he has to deal with.

There's a lot of crazyiness in the book that you just couldn't pull off in a movie but considering you have to pull stuff out of a book to make it fit into a movie I'd say yes - it's decently true to the book. I saw the movie before I read the book though...

I'm the same with Lovecraft = product of the time - I know better maybe he didn't - stories are still great. There's stuff kind of like that in John Dies at the End too but instead of xenophobia it's bro humor - I just roll my eyes and move on, besides it's not that bad and the female characters are actually written realistically and respectfully and to me that matters way more.

LMAO that anime is actually soo good in terms of "WOW FEELINGS now cry" hands down one of the best animes I've ever seen, it's got plot and wonderful art and aaa I can't Im excited to see what other animes are coming out this spring !!!

I can chime in here, cats and board games are my big loves. <3 Most of you already know my cats, Neele, Lihue, Palila and Malu, one Norwegian Forestcat and three Balinese. From the board games, I am much into Exit (an Escape Room game), Pandemic and Legends of Andor. We organize game days with friends where we cook and play all day until the wee hours. We even do this on Christmas Eve, it´s a tradition here with our friends.

It's more of a texture thing! They taste like meaty sea. xD But the texture is like silk. A good oyster is one that you don't have to chew, you just kinda much it with your tongue. I don't ever shoot oysters (some people throw them back whole) because they are an expensive luxury. I'd compare the mouth feel to maybe running the tongue over the roof of your mouth, or really good silken tofu, maybe flat noodles? It's so hard to describe them!

I always love seeing the lineups for each season! Once January hits I'll probably see what's already announced. But I do know that the new season of Boku no Hero Academia will be out so that's exciting!!! And I think an otome or two will come out so that's nice x3 Too bad there really wasn't anything good coming out for the winter season...

IMO the John Dies movie is NOTHING like the book at all. They took out huge plot points, took out characters, it's just not a cohesive movie anymore, far as I could tell. I watched it with a friend of mine who hadn't read the book, and by the end of it we were both looking for the other to explain. I had to ask him if it made any sense to him as someone who hadnt read the source material bc it made no sense to me and I had. but the book definitely has some...rude humor to it. I'm usually not the type to enjoy it and I definitely cringe at points too, but the characters are cringey mofos. They're complex and interesting and terrible and great.

BOARD GAMES! Love them. Have you played Pandemic Legacy? We beat Season 1 and it was honestly the best board game ever. We've not bought Season 2 yet but it's on the list. We play a lot of Mansions of Madness, Mice and Mystics, Terraforming Mars, Century (the Golem edition is BEAUTIFUL!), FireFly: The Game, Star Trek: Ascendancy and Zombicide. I'm waiting on my copy of Gloomhaven at the minute..

I love gaming. I bought a gaming PC last year so I could keep up with all the games I have to play. At the minute my main time drains are SWTOR and ESO. I play A LOT of Skyrim on the PC (modded to death, of course..). I used to play a lot of Paladins online, but I had to stop when they introduced a character with a flashbang attack that triggered my migraines.

I just recently got into Star Trek! I thought I hated it but husband dragged me to the cinema to see the remake with Chris Pine and I ADORED it. I'm obsessed with TNG and we're now anxiously awaiting the next episodes of Discovery.

I used to play a lot of WoW. I played at launch and kept playing up untill around Pandaria. Had to stop when money got a little tight and we couldn't afford two active subscriptions. Because if I play then Husband wants too and vice versa.

I also drink a massive amount of tea every day. My midwife told me that I'm only allowed to drink two cups per day during pregnancy and I cried.

I have 5 currently. Sunflower. Russian Doll. Bats (based on the artwork of Kurt Halsey). Birds across my collarbone. Flower on my back. I have so many more planned though!

I love anime - there used to be a time when i was all up to date to all the releases, but over the past years i didn't watch so much anymore ;_;, fashion is def one of my interests (i used to do modeling) and i just love learning about fashion/couture history, materials, designers, all the niche stuff related to fashion, colognes/perfumes, cold drinks (i actually dont like tea but i love cold coffees), cats, and prolly a lot other things lol

my response: i love animals. i have a dog, macy and despite what my fiance says, i have six cats. four are currently staying with my mom and 2 are with me at his mom's house. we are currently looking for a place to live and then im sneaking in at least one more from my moms house. i miss all the kiddos.

i love reading. it keeps me distracted from pain a lot. and i love escaping to other worlds and getting caught up in them.

cats. reading (books: fantasy but i like a bit of crime/thriller too. ok so i like a few genres but i'll be here forever so i'll shuddup. also manga and webcomics - 'Plume' and 'Winter Woods' are fantastic and i just discovered 'Long Exposure' which is gorgeous). listening to music (industrial, metal, bits of everything really except country and r+b and folk and jazz) especially when it's played really loud in my car so i can let off some steam to it. making stuff (love doing cross-stitch, and even though i've lost my mojo i guess i should mention jewellery too as i spent three years at uni studying the shit). moths (so pretty, and i really want a tattoo of one. either death's head, or luna moth). heaps of other animals especially dragons, horses, did i mention cats? big and little cats, birds of prey, crows and ravens (also want a tattoo of a raven). art and design and architecture especially anything art nouveau, art deco, steampunk, simple and neat and inventive are all inspirations. baking i love it, and get very frustrated at myself when it doesn't turn out the way i wanted it to. nail art i love doing fun things on my nails but hardly get the chance to because of work. ummmm what else....anime i need to watch more, but i love Ghost in the Shell SAC, i remember really enjoying Ergo Proxy when i watched it years ago, and i bingedloved Attack on Titan too although i haven't watched S2 yet, and Studio Ghibli is lyf. i also really like staying up late and i'm really good at it when i should be instead going to bed. like now!
