I am finally home after a near week long hospital stay! It is so nice not to be woken at five in the morning for someone to take my blood. And so nice to sleep in my own bed, oh man.

I've had a mystery illness for about 10 years. I have high hopes that I'm finally going to get a diagnosis.

While getting myself back to some half semblance of my normal is hard work, I'm feeling better, and getting my strength back little by little, and it feels kinda nice to see results, no matter how small. And hey, I suppose there are worse things to have happened from getting sick than being motivated to get more exercise in!

Thank you so much! After having been ill for something like a month, I suppose it was a good thing my beau toted me off to the hospital because I'm actually getting better (and quite rapidly!) now that we know what's wrong. It is SOOOO nice to be back, though. While my illness didn't stay a mystery so long, it sucked not knowing what it was or what to do, so I hope you can get your hoped for diagnosis, too!

thanks! It will likely still be months before I get a final diagnosis, scheduling tests, waiting for results and such, but this is the closest I've gotten in long time.

Only one more step until I hopefully get the money for surgery and past medical expenses paid... Got medically approved a couple days ago so it looks like it could happen soon!

My beau is off today~ I'm looking forward to spending the day with him. And getting to eat dinner together. And my mum might be up to visit! And while the reason for the visit is less than stellar, it'll still be nice to see her.

My meds have forced me to start keeping a schedule since I need to take them at the same time every day, but somehow I've wound up somewhat more productive now that I have to keep a time table. I also just finished the first of my Christmas crafting projects! A Jack Skellington scarf that's to be a present for my beau's sis. Hopefully I can get it photographed and uploaded sometime today, I'm actually rather proud of how it turned out. Now to decide which gift to start on next...

I actually got a couple of faves on the Jack Skellington scarf after I put it up on dA, I'm stupidly excited about it! And I've gotten the main body portion of the plush for my mum done, though I'll have to go buy some more yarn before I can really do much more with it. And I've started on the doll I want to make as a gift for one of my friends! I've been getting tons of crafting work done lately, wow, I may actually manage to finish all my plans this year if I keep up this rate.

I haven't posted here in forever. But I'm just really happy that I finished leveling up in Fantine's bakery and made the highest-level item today (level 18). That was a slog and it was expensive and repetitive and I hated it. But hopefully it'll save me some sP in the long run when I can make the next batch of new baked goods for my gourmand myself instead of having to buy them.

...Although most of the finished products ended up super deflated even though the ingredients to make them are inflated and it really grinds my gears that I had to invest so much in making dozens of copies of things that'll sell for a fraction of what it cost to make them...ahem, but this is supposed to be a positivity thread so...at least I'm done for now :D

I finished the bag I was working on! I think the color choices actually turned out really nice, though I think I may have used the wrong hook this go around as it's smaller than the bag I made for myself with the same pattern, whoops... Oh well, it's still going to make a cute way to give a gift, and be useful beyond that, besides.

Nearly done with the Chat Noir plush I've been working on! I just have to pick up some fabric glue so I can put his bitty ears on with less hassle than trying to sew them. (Or maybe I'll still decide to sew them, we'll see how it goes, I'm not certain at this point, honestly. I just know I won't be hot gluing them because one, I don't have a hot glue gun, two, pretty sure I'd manage to screw it up and get messy glue strands in the hair, and that took way too much effort to risk messing up like that.) I'm surprisingly happy with his hair, this is the first time I've ever done brushed yarn for hair, and it turned out decent for a first try. Way more effort than just doing yarn strands, and styling it is more than a bit of a pain, but it looks good enough, I think.
