I had a lovely day out with my beau yesterday! We went out to lunch (the restaurant-ish to-order place in our local Whole Foods is actually quite good), went to a movie (I should have waited for both Infinity Wars movies to be out and went to a double feature, honestly, because I was somewhat disappointed with this one...), wandered around the mall a bit then went to Barnes & Noble (I got new books!! Including some more Salvatores, and a book on the art of Blizzard games for less than a third of the cover price, I am excite!). It was a pretty good day even if I wasn't super into the movie.

Super happy it's Friday, going to spend some time with mine and my boyfriend's mom this weekend at the wineries which should be super fun!

Last night's Critical Role was really good!! And SE released more info on stuff coming in the next patch, and I'm pretty hyped about it!

My beau turned in his notice to his current job! (Which probably sounds like bad news, but is actually great news.) In about a month, he'll no longer be with the current employer that overworks, underappreciates, and underpays him, huzzah! (Seriously, my beau hasn't seen a single raise in year plus he's worked at this place, and revenue has increased steadily the entire time he's worked to improve that business. Meanwhile, his front of house counterpart has received three. Talk about frustrating, it's circumstances like this that drive a person to drink...) My beau already has a foot in the door at another establishment, and enough experience to go pretty much anywhere he damn well pleases at this point, so I'm excited that he's finally moving on from this job.

OH MY GOOOSH i got a phone call this morning totally out of the blue with a fantastic job offer!! and i accepted!! so i've already resigned from the shitty job that i really hate!! two weeks left of that, but starting training for the new job next Friday. I. CAN. NOT. WAIT. WOW what a day!!
