Today is no theme i drew a blank... So tell me what you and your family does for xmas eve and day.
Xmas eve in my house we open 1 present at midnight. Then we head to my brother in laws house later in the day For an xmas eve party. Traditionally we do secret santa for the the ones 17 and under and the one for adults. But this year we plan doing a white elephant for the adults. Then after the presents are open we do the 12 days of xmas then a dance video which is choreographed. Then we sing karaoke then we play cards to end our night. Xmas day is spent opening presents and giving to those in a lil later food clothes and toys.

Nothing too fancy. We open one present each on Christmas Eve and then the rest on Christmas day. Also we watch the Doctor Who Christmas special. That's about it.

we just live the day like any other day since here, Christmas is not that big.. Christmas Eve we may go to the church, and probably have a feast during dinner time, but other than that, yea... My number today is 7 ^_^
Christmas is a bit different here when it comes to traditions for different days. Our take on it is that on the 24th, we spend the day cooking together and decorating the tree. Two years ago me and my brothers made up a little game for our parents instead of giving them a gift, and this kind of became a tradition since then. So we open the presents in the evening, after the game. On the 25th we visit my aunt, so her family and my grandma and us all spend the day together usually playing boardgames and, of course, eating a lot. That's kind of all we do :)

hm... when i was a kid, i used to make my mum presents (don't ask out of what) (like LMAO paper pop-up books, that was the extent of my 7-year old creativity rip) because hey presents and christmas !! despite the fact that our family doesn't celebrate christmas. i'm afraid even that's curtailed a bit as i've grown up though. hm... i do still use christmas as an excuse nowadays to get my mum to do something like take me out for a meal xD.
i love christmas though. i used to get a ton of presents from school-friends and the like, and it's one of my favourite holidays!! subeta is also a place that really sort of instilled this sense of festivity for christmas in me xD. just logging in every year at christmas time, really reminds me of the snow from my hometown and making weird snow-people in the backyard. aww.
edit: forgot i didnt put a number. hm... 45 for today !! no particular reason Q>Q
The tradition in our house is to open our stockings on Christmas Eve after dinner and on those rare years that we don't have stockings we get to open one present. I hope it snows! It's the best when it snows on Christmas Eve. Speaking of which, I'll have number 24 today please and thank you.

So it changes but usually involves a lot of driving lol. We see my family and have a big meal one day and we see my husband's family and have a big meal the next. We do always spend the night at my husband's families house and open presents on Christmas morning though :)
Let's see.......I make my family advent calendars for the month of December. In case your not familiar with them. they're little numbered boxes that you open one a day that has a small piece of candy or small gift in each one. You open one a day till Christmas. Usually in number 24 (Christmas Eve's box), I put a little bit bigger gift in instead of opening one of the presents under the tree. Then Christmas morning We open all the presents under the tree. Later we go see friends and have a nice Christmas dinner.

When I was little, xmas eve wasn't very special. (when I was REALLY little they would say Christmas was actually the eve, so the day after with all the discount sales was Christmas lol) But for Christmas, my sister and picked 1 gift each and opened it, and the idea was as long as we were playing with it (so, like a doll, or a puzzle) until we were bored we wouldn't open anything else. If we opend a pair of earrings or something, we could open more.
These days, they don't do anything. Last year I put up a digital tree on the computer and wrapped my own gifts. . .

My family doesn't do anything grand. We just open the presents in the morning and then go about our day as regular. Last year we did go to the movies... Maybe we'll do that this year as well. :)

I don't really have a favorite Christmas song, but for some reason love this version of White Winter Hymnal. The song is more creepy than holiday-y, but I like it nontheless.
